Farnsworth to wed Bloomfield

Kristy Farnsworth and Jason Bloomfield have announced their engagement to be married.

Bloomfield made his "surprise proposal" on Christmas, while visiting his mother.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chris Barajas of Mountain Home and Larry Farnsworth of Notus. She was born and raised in Mountain Home and currently is working at Kurly's Sports Bar and Grill.

The future groom is a senior airman in the United States Air Force and is currently stationed at Mountain Home AFB where he works as a jet engine mechanic. He is from Lake Oswego, Ore., and is the son of Sue Bloomfield of Lake Oswego and Greg Bloomfield of Toledo, Ohio.

The couple have planned an August wedding to be held in Las Vegas. They will reside in Mountain Home.
