Steelsmiths celebrate 25th

Cindy and Jenny Steelsmith, daughters of Jim and Carol Steelsmith, have announced the celebration and achievement of their parents' 25th wedding anniversary.

Cindy and Jenny threw an anniversary party at Carmela Winery on Nov. 8. Their daughters invited their family and friends and whoever had shared in the last 25 years of their happiness, sadness, and ups and downs, to celebrate with them. Over 60 attended. Included among those that attended were Carol's parents, Don and Evelyn Puder, Jeff and Donna Jacobsen, sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Toni Leonetti, sister and neice, and John Puder, brother, all from Twin Falls and Jim's father, Jack C. Steelsmith of Kimberly.

Jim and Carol grew up in Filer where they met, went to school and graduated. They were married on Nov. 4, 1978, in Twin Falls.

Carol is a registered nurse at Elmore Medical Center, and Emerald Surgical Center.

Jim is retired from the Air Force and currently superintendent of construction for a new apartment complex in Mountain Home.

They will be enjoying a week at Lake Tahoe celebrating their love for each other and their silver anniversary. Jim and Carol are also awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild by their oldest daughter, Jenny, sometime in February.

Their youngest daughter, Cindy, is in cosmetology school in Boise and upon graduation there she will move to Twin Falls and start college seeking a degree in business.
