The Rev. Margaret Kurtz leads worship at St James on Maundy Thursday, April 1st, at 7 pm. The Rite of Foot Washing will be observed, when those who choose to do so may come forward to participate in the memorial of Jesus' washing the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper. Kurtz will preach and celebrate Holy Eucharist Rite I. The Altar Guild will solemnly strip the altar before the congregation is dismissed. The community is always welcome at St James.
