The Rev. Lothar Pietz returns to St. James on Easter Day, Sunday April 4 at 10 am. He leads the congregation in returning to the use of Holy Eucharist Rite II, the more joyous of rites used in the Episcopal Church, when once again "Aleluias" are sung. Pastor Pietz, a Lutheran clergyman also licensed in the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho, began this year's Lenten season for St James on Ash Wednesday (Feb. 14) and completes the cycle by celebrating the Resurrection of Our Lord. The service takes place in the larger facility next door to Old St James. All are invited to the altar for communion.
