Thanks to the concordat between the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Episcopal Church USA there can be a clergy exchange. The Rev. Lothar Pietz, a retired ELCA pastor and recent Interim Priest at All Saints Episcopal Church in Boise, now visits St James occasionally, and will come again on Sunday, Feb 14th. The Day of the Church Year celebrates the Transfiguration of our Lord, and is the last Sunday before Lent begins. There is, as always, open communion.
