The Rev. Lothar Pietz, retired pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is the guest priest at Ash Wednesday services at 7 pm on 17 Feb. He will place ashes on the foreheads of the congregation, and will celebrate Holy Eucharist Rite I. This service inaugurates the Lenten Season this year and the community is invited.
