Debates could be decisive
Tonight begins the first of three debates between the two major party presidential candidates.
For those of you who actually haven't already made up your minds -- or whose minds are flexible enough to have your opinion changed by a good argument -- we encourage you to watch.
Believe it or not, you can miss one "Survivor" episode on behalf of your country.
Both men tonight are highly experienced debaters. If would be unexpected if either commits any serious gaffes. The paid pundits from each side will try and find some, but realistically, both men are too experienced to probably do anything really stupid.
What voters will hear is each candidate's message, and their plan in whatever detail they've managed to flesh it out, unfiltered by the media, bloggers or negative-campaign super PACs.
This is each man, in the flesh, speaking directly to you for your vote.
We know how Idaho will vote and our four electoral votes aren't usually considered vital to either candidate. But there are a number of key swing states right now where the race could go either way.
With less than a month now before the election, these debates could very well decide who the next president will be.
We urge you to watch them and let your friends in those swing know what you thought.
