  • None of the Candidates on either side are worth my vote. I have never sat a Presidential Election out, this could be my first.

  • The only rule or regulation that moved jobs overseas is that American employers can't pay slave wages. Almost all the other rules and regulations came about because of the bad behavior of many employers.

Abolish the EPA and it's rules and regulations and see how fast our air and water looks like it came from China!

    Ever hear of NAFTA?

  • Let me clarify it for you joe. They can't pay slave wages in this country.

  • Its clear Roy, slave wages are not the only reason is all I'm saying.

  • NAFTA is one of the reasons I supported Ross Perot. I worked in an industry destroyed by NAFTA and other agreements, as well as changes to tax laws that made it profitable to move jobs off-shore. Large companies moved jobs that resulted in raising the standard of living in countries such as China, while decimating the standard of living here.

More often than not, regulations come about because of businesses attitude of "Even if it's morally and ethically wrong, if there's no rule against it, and it improves profit, then we will do it."

  • Locally, Micron is a prime example of what these trade agreements do to lower level employees, production moved to Taiwan etc..

Illegals will come here as long as employers are paying them, wall or no wall. Fine the employers enough money to eliminate the financial incentive of hiring illegals. Stop giving triple benefits to those with multiple id's by requiring fingerprints on every transaction.

Now that Trump has broken the ice on not being PC I think someone qualified will arise to take the Oval office.

  • gmoney, I have advocated fining employers who employ undocumented workers, and by fining, I mean something along the lines of 25k a day per employee. I also support mandatory e-verify. Sounds strange coming from a progressive doesn't it?
