  • We need an agreed upon budget in Congress, because that is right and is an effective way to run a government, and the economy to be strong needs a good budget.

I'm a veteran and don't think that I am honored by military over spending any more than over spending in other areas. This fact does not mean that I don't honor other veterans and those currently serving.

There are a lot of areas hurt by a lack of a good budget and I'm not going to get emotional over just one of the areas.

  • AGREED SAM.....they need to stop making the people there political pawns and do there jobs. They certainly exspected us to do ours. There is no reason that the budget should not have been in conference yet, none whats so ever.If we must shoulder the cuts then they should be shared by the entire nation not on segement or the other.

They should be about making things better for the people not just there certain friends.Whats so hard about that??????? GOT to run things to do ........later
