Help Wanted: Need someone to teach an old lady how to ride a bike. Too short for a mountain bike, too tall for a tricycle!

I figured out that if $20 = approx. 6 gallons of gas, I am not going to be driving very far. Especially driving in from the county to town every day.

I told my older children that I wanted to get one of those cute little electric scooters and put one of those red flags on a pole on it and drive for 20 miles on a charge! You probably already guessed their answer. "You can't even stay on a bike, how in the world are you going to drive a scooter?"

My answer -- On a scooter my feet should be at least 6-12" from the ground. On a bike my backside is at least 3' from the ground, which means that falling from the bike = Trip to Emergency Room. Falling from the scooter = stubbed toe. Saving Money!
