  • Stagnant referred to wages. When the value of my house recovers I am leaving.

Many California residents - upwardly mobile as they tend sometimes to be - have come to Idaho with lofty dreams and well healed bank accounts, only to discover that Idaho is STAGNANT beyond all hope, Roy.

Roy, while I suspected the upward mobility thing might have been related to wealth or money, it wouldn't have been difficult to simply say so. The New York Times article also said: "The researchers found at least one other factor that correlated with higher income mobility: the willingness to move to another state. People who moved to another state were more likely to get a big income increase, presumably because higher-income opportunities were part of the reason for migrating in the first place."

    Imagine that if you will.

  • Warren, to this day it still amazes me that seemingly no one reads the entire intro to the blog.

I see you found the article, it wasn't hard I'm sure. What was so hard to understand about " The subject matter is of no consequence."

The whole point of the blog is how to distort the truth (LIE) by omission.

" The subject matter is of no consequence." Quite understandable and truthful and still the point escaped me.

Must be that my mind has gone stagnant from all that time I've lived and loved my home state.

Missed it and the web link is "no longer avalable". (The wife and I were relaxing after our first week of watching the grandson while his Mom got back to being under-employed, but at least working.)

I did get an e-mail this morning from an old vet that said he watched Maher last night and the talk was that subsidies should be stopped as not an effective objective for all that receive it.

    Whatever would cause that?
