I stumbled on a website a few months back about an industry that I saw yesterday is growing richer faster than congress men and women are..

I'll post my ideas about that later.

But it does have to do with free rides on eveyone's dollars.

Social Security, Medicare, Medicade and welfare. All federal support for charities and causes.

Let people stand on their own two feet. Your welfare is you and your families problem, not mine. If I choose to help you it is my choice, not the government's job or responsibilty. If you choose to have kids, you support them WIC, is ridiculous if cant feed your kids use a condom.

We survived as a country long before any of these programs were in place, and can survive without them now. Make your own in this world. Plain and simple. I have my retirement plan set, money in the bank and work hard for a good days wage. I am not worried about my future because I plan for it now.

  • @ Conservative: i use to think this away to until recently when i became paralyzed from the waitst down. I am still able to work some but i know the day is coming when i can't and when that day comes i know i will have to rely on those programs. You are right in that we did not have these programes before and did just fine but back then everyone in the community would help take care of you and that is what we are missing today. I think there is to much abuse and hands in the cookie jar in all of these programs, so they just need to be fixed.
