Over the top?Posted Friday, January 27, 2012, at 6:31 AM
While my idea may seem over the top, just stop and think about it for a minute.
Starting with the very 1st day the Congress goes into session after the next election, station 1 million people around the Congress and the White House. Outside of elected officials, no one else allowed in. Absolutely no one allowed out. That means no staff, no cooks, no janitors, no family. You get my drift. Bring in lots of cots and they will live there till the PEOPLES business is taken care of!!!!!
Oh, I forgot to mention, no phones, Blackberries, no internet access.
Maybe, just maybe, they will finally understand what their JOB is!!!
When the people are satisfied with the results, then they can be allowed out.
Maybe some time having to cook and clean for themselves, and being cut off from family and "FRIENDS" will get the message across.
