    The truly sad fact is that many of the above items could only be enacted by a direct vote of the people. Politicians have shown that they are incapable of policing themselves.

  • I am now working on part 2 of this blog. I hope this blog has solidified the fact that I'm not some left leaning liberal. Part 2 will address what I see as the most important social issues that need attention and that should transcend the politics of today.

  • skeeter, yes to some extent. For severe gross negligence, no. When compared to the first 10 items on the list, tort reform falls well short in importance.
