  • Thank you Roy:

I hope that you will post more about her experiences. David is very interested in WWII history and so am I.

Your mother was part of the greatest generation and I know that you are proud of her.

She left a great legacy to you and that treasure will never be taken away.

Roy.. Great Photo... as for tomorrow, the first time I went to the veterans cemetery was just a few weeks ago. I too did not know how I would make it through, but once I drove through to the pavilion, I truly felt, peace... it is such a peaceful place.. take your time tomorrow and say your goodbyes at your own pace...my thoughts will be with you and your family...then come back and blog a really funny memory you have of your mother....

  • Great Photo Roy your Mom was very pretty and looked so young. She wore that uniform proud. I wish I would of known her... I haven't been to that cemetery yet but Pat has a few times. He told me its a beautiful one.

Your Mom is at peace in a beautiful place.
