  • There are lots of things that aren't available. Most kids have never taken a train ride or even a bus ride.

Customer service is nil in most places. Or they call you hon or sweetheart. Instead of Mam or Sir.

I can remember making milkshakes for them and having to really hurry because they only had so much time.

Most kids have never had a real milkshake either. Only those phony milky things that come out of a machine.

Bonnie: your short stories and blog is always interesting to read. Can't help myself but you like most of us at a young age seems to have problems with whatever we worked at. LoL I know I sure made my mistakes early in life but someplace along the line you have to learn and doing it is the best teacher.

Only been on a bus once in my life and that was trying to get home from Germany getting back to Northeaster Pa in the winter when the weather was bad and nobody could come get me.

Always loved trains and still do, only time I been on one was in Germany and took the Mystery Train for New Years Eve 2 years in a row, what a blast it was LOL.
