    Beautifully written, Bonnie. It sounds like your gatherings are much like ours, with mischievious adventures galore.

    You're right, the best reunions on Earth are those of joy. The weddings, birthday and regular picnics/BBQs.

    But even the sad reunions when we gather to remember those that have passed also provide joy, in the knowing that we have family here for us, no matter what.

    It is because of the wonderful joy that families provide, that we also have the other deep sorrows at our losses. One can't be had without the other. They go hand in hand.
