Beth's Summer Blooms
Screaming thirsty, and no earth for comfort I picked her up so gently, bathe her in lukewarm water Tucked her in between dirt and earthworms And left her there for recovery, Seven days after I was cleaning my garden and there she was Peaking out,I went closed to her and whispered My breath gives you carbon dioxide And in return you give me life and joy Life because of the oxygen you breath out for me And joy because of the beautiful flowers you present to me Not only that, you give me hundreds of seeds for me to enjoy And the memories will linger in my mind. Wonderful poem, thank you for sharing!
Sunflowers are my very favorite flower. It's nice that someone does a blog about something nice.
Thanks again
