Thanks Tracy for all of the work you have done to try and educate people on what is wrong in our county. As discouraging as it is with all of the comments lobbed at you, you can still hold your head up because you tried to make a difference, and whether you did it right or wrong, you stood up and I think more than a few listened. I certainly did. More importantly, your persistence got a few more people out there to vote, and for nothing else, you succeeded. I for one, will never back down when someone questions my motive, because if it is right, then they will go away, not me. Stick to your guns, woman, and when you do decide to run for public office, I will be the first to vote for you. For no other reason than you do your homework and and are not afraid to show the facts.

"Life is to short to hold a grudge against someone who never mattered in the first place"???? "Just because your neccessary doesn't mean your important??" Are you serious?? Does that mean people don't matter and aren't important. That is truly a very sad way to go through life thinking that way. I am sorry you feel that way.

I agree with you. On a local level, we can look forward to higher taxes and more reckless spending for which nobody is accountable. How does that happen? How do we as taxpayers allow something like this?

We have a food pantry on American Legion that when open has a HUGE line of people---each and every time it is open. Is that not a clue as to where we are going? Things are going to get worse before they get better. We are in this mess for the long haul.

Scale back? Why do that when you have taxpayers to foot the bill for anything and everything with no checks or balances. It makes me want to puke.

This my opinion on the WECRD. The cells phone was in use at one time and Molly was there when it was going on. Like CJW stated they should step up to the plate and pay back that money. This was a close election and the only thing that came out of it is, now all 3 board members have been elected not like it has been for the last 10 years of all of them being appointed. Somewhere around 5 thousand votes cased and just how many of those every went to a meeting or even went to the WECRD office to see what they were spending money on. Prior to them paying ½ million for property that was nowhere close to that valve. The 2 years prior to the purchase the land was tax assessed at 43 thousand dollars. My understand was the owner didn't even have it up for sale but when the WECRD offered a ½ million for it he jumped at it and laughed all the way to the BANK and so make it worse it's in the flood plain and building the building there is put in right in the middle of a flood and it's not if it will happen but when. The Board has stated they have all the fill dirt right on the land to build the Taj Mahal higher, guess that only puts all the landscaping and outdoor rec in a bigger chance of flooding. More people need to go and see what they have been spending money on and as far as I can see they are hiding money under some categories because they are to general. Their use of quick books for tracking money spend isn't worth much when it is not set up right to be able to show where the money is going. Been at this mess for 10 years and nothing to show for recreation until they got shamed into some of the youth programs. It was always stated by them they had to save every dime to build sure doesn't look that way to me. Last year they purchased Microsoft word to be up to date on it. Now they want to purchase Microsoft Office and I have checked with Microsoft and if they go with that is a cost of $499.99 and all for what do they really need that software. Their own words it takes a community to build the Taf Mahal and the recent shows they don't have everyone on board. Now it becomes a case to raise taxes more for the public and business's and then borrow to build something that will end up losing money. Been so many surveys done now at the cost of thousands of dollars and they have been ignored. Now going to be another one costing thousands again, I guest keep doing surveys until they agree with what the WECRD wants. I do believe it won't be long before the CLDC gets the boot and so will the "Y" This district will never turn over the money to the "Y" to have them build and run it. Guess it will be another 10 years before the area gets recreation.

i got here in august 1972,yes they were here i was night shift super of the phase docks for a long time and then got drafted back into social actions,went to germany for 3 in 77 got back here in 80 and stayed till retirement,funny didnt want to come here in72 fought tooth and nail not too,then fell in love with it .had to fight them to get back here actually had to pull some strings used up some good iou (smile)no i was iN germany when that plane went,i did pull all the aqcceptance inspections on the F model im the guy that grounded the fleet,capsules were installed wrong out of the factory.

I KNOW EVERY RAMP ON MTN HOME WHEN I GOT BACK HERE I HAD TO GIVE UP AND AFSC TO GET HERE so i ran transit alert for about a year there isnt a ramp out there that i dont know were it goes and some very few people know about that exist. well got to run things to do

well eagle you must have been ar...the ramps i refer to are weeded over now but there there...on the line side and the other side of the runway.....did you know there was a whole parking ramp on the other side lights and all.also the other runway that was there but not used anymore,those days go back a ways.COL colman was a great commander one that was approachable almost anywhere,so was COL EASTBURN HAD A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH BOTH,what happened to colman was the same reason I GROUNDED ALL THE F,s out of the factory in 72 plus the added chute problem with his plane.wasnt here for the F-4.

the wing commander was lynwood clark when i got here went on to be a 3 star commanding alaskan air command,lives in star i believe, i use to see him every now and then.ill have to ask a friend about him,i thought he was the first f -111 commander here, but that was a long time ago.I REMEBER THE RACWAY that was a good thing.
