VOTE-VOTE-VOTE

Just a reminder that November 2, 2010 is the day to VOTE!

In order to make a change, we need to vote. There are many races this year that depend on all of us, who can, to vote.

One of the many important races out there this year is for a change on the WECRD Board. There are two seats up for election.

If we want taxes until the end of time with little recreation and ten more years of nothing, vote for who we have.

If we want change, investment in this community, lower taxes and actual recreation, then vote for Mayne and Nelson.

It has been 10 years. Some new blood is needed to give this wonderful opportunity a chance.

No matter who you decide to vote for, please vote. Every vote this election will count. If you do not vote, you have no right to complain.

PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2, 2010. Change cannot happen without you.

IT IS EASY FOR THOSE IN POWER TO SEND YOUR KIDS AND MINE TO DIE...........the financial part is the usual motivation........that should bother us all because it tells us just how much the powerfull consider us worth.........and why should we be judged in comparison of money..........yes some form of money etc is nessary but we always say you cant put a price on a life but we do........4,500 dead........40,000,000 wounded and all you ever hear is how much it will cost for healthcare of the wounded.......thats a shame at best.........but its easy for those whos children will never face that horror........so cantjustwatch what do you think needs to change??????????????BETTER YET WHAT CAN YOU AND I DO

OK I have a question... now that I reviewed the Western Elmore County Rec. District Web page and why is there an endorsement (link) to a private company on there... The Mountain Home News.

I find it odd that odd that the WERCD gives that much real estate of a web page to a private company?

Hey I voted for him too. I also voted for Sullivan not because he is a Dem but because I knew him when he was a boy living here in Mountain Home.

Are you sure who you vote for will be the best for our State and County? Seems this time there has been more advertising against the opponent then telling us about what they stand for and represent!

Just voted! Now, we wait and see what happens. It is going to be a long night. Goodbye Nancy!

Just a guess.

Here's the word from one site.

http://www.apexflags.com/newsletters/new...

"Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter has ordered flags at the State Capitol Building and other state buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff on Saturday, October 30, 2010, from dawn to dusk in honor of Senator Clint Stennett."

The death of Ted Sorensen would be my guess, but I'm not sure either.

I read the story in the paper.....nothing surprising there........that is the second such accident in the last few months......we had one here on 84 and the person lived HERE for 20 yrs.....you probally didnt notice it because he pleaded guilty right away........i dont know wether he is serving or being deported........ i think.......dont quote me he was to serve and then deport......but im not sure should be a matter of public record ...........

yes we need a change on that board.......the original concept has been so changed that it is hard to belive what they have done from the meeting i attended 10 yrs ago...........and the need is bigger than ever...........you should go back and review the original........this became empire building at its best.........its a shame and the community has paid the brunt of this one....we can get this done but not with the people there now.........matter of fact it should have been done

I have lived in Mountain Home for over 11 years now. I love to be outdoors in wide open spaces (as long as it does not involve camping...in a tent and an out house). I dislike Government waste/abuse of tax dollars and "sky is the limit" spending by those that we elect to represent "us." I value free speech when what is stated is factual (as opposed to lies, gossip and un-truths). I love the Chicago White Sox (I never said I was perfect) and the Broncos are okay too! I am 38 years old and married to a guy who is active duty USAF (and a Cubs fan...he is the "perfect" one). I am anti-nuclear and against further desecration of our planet with waste that we can do little to nothing with. If you dislike blunt, this is not the blog for you. Enjoy!
