Honest Election Or Corruption?

Some time ago, I went to a WECRD Board Meeting on the 2010/2011 fiscal year budget. Prior to this meeting it was announced that an election official had been hired (a paid position).

Please watch this clip:

The reason that I was so disenchanted with this person being hired for this position is mainly for the following reason:

1. For at least two (2) years in a row, this person was involved in authoring less than truthful federal appropriations applications along with Mollie Marsh.

The information contained in the last appropriations application was so flawed and fact-lacking/conflicted that the entire application had to be pulled. The MHN covered the story (please see the following links).

Now, the WECRD has put this same person in charge of ballots! She is in charge of making sure all absentee ballots make it to their destination to be counted. She is in charge of making sure that any ballots cast at the wrong place make it to their destination to be counted. She is also in charge of making sure that those working the WECRD polls know, legally, what is to be done and how.

So, the person who could not tell the truth for at least two (2) years running on appropriations applications is now in charge of ballots and making sure this election is run in a legal manner! Really?

Below is a link to Art Nelson's web page. He is running for Jana's seat on the WECRD Board. Is it appropriate for an election official to rally for a candidate? Is it appropriate for an election official to send an email out to employees of the WECRD and the WECRD attorney telling them who to vote for? I guess that is Idaho's version of unbiased.

Is this going to be a fair and just election? Will all ballots make it to their destination to be counted? Will a person who has questionable ethics (at best) be able to follow the law? If past actions are an indicator, this election is going to be a mess.

I encourage anyone who is reading this to consider the last ten years. Take a look at all of the money that has been spent on anything but recreation. Remember that your taxes were raised contrary to what you voted for. Remember that these people spent $725.00 of taxpayer money on a photo of themselves.

Is this America? Will your vote count (or make it to the destination to be counted?)?

This is one more example of why these people cannot be trusted. Watch the YouTube clip. Mollie Marsh finds the situation funny. She states that what I said was "my opinion." Funny---you gals had to pull the appropriations application because it was not truthful or accurate. Are these women really the faces of the WECRD or what this project SHOULD stand for and represent?

If it smells like a skunk and looks like a skunk then it must be a skunk. Loved how Ms. Marsh seemed to be laughing when you were expressing your thoughts and opinions.

Yea Old guy, always funny to those jokers. If you look real close you can see Marsha cover her mouth with her hand and laugh also. All seems to be a big joke to those jokers and what they can get away with. Just another case with them the public doesn't count, what a sorry bunch sitting there spending our tax dollars.

I have lived in Mountain Home for over 11 years now. I love to be outdoors in wide open spaces (as long as it does not involve camping...in a tent and an out house). I dislike Government waste/abuse of tax dollars and "sky is the limit" spending by those that we elect to represent "us." I value free speech when what is stated is factual (as opposed to lies, gossip and un-truths). I love the Chicago White Sox (I never said I was perfect) and the Broncos are okay too! I am 38 years old and married to a guy who is active duty USAF (and a Cubs fan...he is the "perfect" one). I am anti-nuclear and against further desecration of our planet with waste that we can do little to nothing with. If you dislike blunt, this is not the blog for you. Enjoy!
