The only thing I am afaid of is the future of our country. I do not know anyone who was ever refused emergency treatment at a hospital. I also do not believe that any one person. Dem or Republican, knows what the contents of this bill are, including the President. How could they know, if they were still changing it last night? Take a guess what? When small business is "forced" to pay medical insurance for workers they will let workers go and/or won't hire new ones. Why would they pay for something for someone else, when they truly cannot afford it for themselves? Mom and Pop business just cannot afford the rates. Never have been able to. Big business can more afford the insurance, most small businesses cannot. So, Johhny, Joe and Mary are probably not going to be able to get a job again, and little mom and pop business doesn't get fined. One thing that should have happened was permitted people to buy insurance throughout different States. I bet with more competition the prices and types of coverage would have dropped. That is one huge item that could have been done, and wasn't even attempted. Why the heck should I pay for some couch potato lazy bums' insurance and food when they don't even try. Yeah, let's jsut give more away. And oh yeah, just because someone makes over 200,000 they should be penalized, so someone else can have the same? Get real folks. That is called socialism plain and simple. Let's live off of those who have better than you or I!! Quite greedy and jealous I would say. Sorry, but I will do without before I leech off of someone else just because they have more or make more income.

The Republicans didn't chime in a lot on this because they WERE SHUT OUT of the proceedings, if you recall.

No where in the constitution does it allow the federal goverment to force me to purchase a service or commodity from a commercial entity. Or in laymens terms, they can't make me buy insurance. The elastic clause has been stretched to the breaking point.

Texas has now said it will sue, also. That makes 38 states which is more than 3/4 of the states. Coincidentaly it takes 3/4 of the states to ratify a constitutional amendment...

I'm not to worried about my son loosing his job. He works in a grocery store and people still have to buy food. If they start getting rid of employees then service won't be so good.... customers will take their business elsewhere. It will not do business's any good down sizing unless they really need to any ways.

Simply put if you tax small businesses to the point you run them OUT of business, then there is no one left to tax and steal from.

Sorry to tell you but you are misinformed about the Republicans being shut out of health care reform In fact, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee and Senate Finance Committee bills contained nearly 200 Republican amendments. They also had their own input on idea's. They were the ones that boged the process down

The Republicans filed 788 amendments, 161 of which made it into the bill.

Once again the Republicans are playing victim when in reality they aren't

The only "polls' that matter are the ones that happen on November 2nd.

There were 3 men released and they were sent to Georgia the country... The public won't know any more until it is declassified

After considerable thought and reflection, I realize I have been wrong in my past comparisons of the Obama administration to Hitler's NAZI party. I seem to have one of them a great disservice.

The NAZI's were far more organized.

They were "transparent" enough to wear uniforms so all would know who they were and what they were doing. Most everything was pretty much out in the open.

Hitler promised jobs and followed through, and not by expanding the size of government--fact is, he got RID of a lot of the dead weight.

He rid HIS country of communists and other undesirables.

He took pride in HIS country. He bowed and apologized NOT.

Goebbels lied & B.S.'d the people too, as Gibbs does, but with Goebbels, they could at least comprehend what they just heard.

They didn't give traitors and saboteurs any "miranda" rights as Holder does.

When the evil times started, they were about even. The 3rd Reich wanted to run eveything too, just as THIS administration does. Hitler & company took over factories, banks, hospitals, they indoctrinated THEIR youth too in the German schools.

They burned and banned books, just as "FCC Czar" Mark Lloyd wants to ban free speech here.

..............Hitler was mad for wanting to take over the world, but prior TO that, he actually DID do some good for Germany. He was PROUD of HIS country.

I've said it often, and it's a matter of public record that I've never supported the Bush's.

They too were incompetent, but they at LEAST weren't knuckling under to anyone. There weren't any government takeovers, and the government wasn't expanding by leaps and bounds as it is now.

Bush was stupid, but he wasn't a socialist. Our kids weren't singing "mmmmm-mmmmm-mmmmm....George W. Bush!"

When the Bush administration created 16,000 jobs, that didn't mean expanding the IRS to wreak even FURTHER havoc and intimidation on the citizens.

Good Bush things? Yeah, I can name a couple...we went AFTER the terrorists instead of giving them rights. You have to remember that 9/11 happened during Bush's first term. Obama has NOT had to deal with another attack............that deterrent didn't come from Miranda rights and apologies.

Also, one of the first things Bush wanted to do when he became President was to drill up north. It was the LEFT that came all unglued about the elk, the caribou, and disturbing the artic owls where NOBODY ever visits anyway, and they managed to kill the bill. When gasoline jumped to almost 5 bucks per gallon a year or so ago, I wonder how many people REMEMBERED the "great tree-hugger-blockade?"

In no previous administration until now (on either side), have a "free people" been faced with "BUYING what we tell you to.....or else."

Nobody knows what's best for MsMarylin better than MsMarylin does. Same with Dave, CJW, Bazookaman, etc.

We vote our representatives into the high offices to REPRESENT us, not to REGULATE us. Example: Walt Minnick is a Democrat and Mike Crapo is a Republican. Each time they go to a session back there in D.C., they are EXPECTED to vote as IDAHOANS. They are there to do the will of the people who elected them, not to cater to lobbyists and make all these back door deals, "for the good of the party."

SCREW the party--------THEY work for US. When they forget that, they need to be fired!

Both men, as far as I can tell, are doing what we send them to do, but this is NOT the case over all FIFTY states unfortunately.

The sheer arrogance of this 1-sided "disregard" has infuriated the public, and rightfully so. We aren't being listened to, yet WE are the ones paying the bills.

Now we're even being told what we HAVE to buy. A person can do one of two things. Just grumble a little, roll over and accept this gradual takeover of our lives and sigh......"well, that's just the way it IS, I guess............can't fight "city hall".......just gonna have to make the best of things.".......What's for supper?

Or............a person does what Franklin, Jefferson, Washington, Mason and the others did. Stands up and says "Bull-----!!!" "Enough is enough!"

The American people are FROSTED! Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, especially Congress!

A lot of people think I'm too passionate and radical about it all, that I'm off the deep end and losing sight of reality............and that's ok, because people are still entitled to their own opinions, by the Grace of God.

But I have a very REAL stake in this, Marylin. The free life we've enjoyed in America, from quiet Sundays in the parks to the 52-inch plasma televisions, the freedoms of expression and an unlimited opportunity to become whatever you can achieve..........everything.........

It has all came at the ultimate price from the Revolutionary War to Afghanistan, and a dozen wars in-between. An awful lot of blood has been spilled over the past 2 and a half centuries, to keep what have, and the rest of the world doesn't.

TOO MUCH blood, to just stand by and "accept" this country being turned over to a communist way of life. I've left some blood in the trenches myself so that maybe MY sons and grandsons wouldn't have to.

So when I see our "commander-in-chief" bowing down to Arabs, apologizing to everyone else, and completely disregarding the same oath that he and I BOTH swore to under God............I take that very personally.

There are too many names on too many graves from Arlington to the "Wall"............and we ain't done yet. Too many wheelchairs in V.A. hospitals to just sell out to the Russians and Chinese, drop the borders and "light one up in the Rose Garden."

And tell the American people it no longer MATTERS what they want, 'cause "we're doing it ANYWAY"

I have a very personal issue in all of this, not only as an American, but as an old combat vet as well.

43 years ago, they paid me about $200.00 a month to trade shots with communists for someone ELSE's country. It was all for nothing.

If it comes to it again, at least THIS time it'll BE for OUR country's freedoms. Same enemy flag, but most of all, it'll be Constitutional..................."against all enemies, both foreign and...............what was that word?"

Everytime I hear Ron Paul speak, it angers me even more that our party nominated the RINO McCain instead, in 2008.

The Morrison Center was packed and energized last night and Dr. Paul was in fine tune, as always, but what inspired me MORE last night was what I saw PRIOR to his walking out on the stage.

Not only was the auditorium filled up, but I'll bet at least a third of the crowd was in the 25-30 age range, and the keynote speaker before Ron came on, was the BSU student body President himself. He and a lot of other students were responsible for putting this thing together!

A good friend of mine had gone with me, and we talked about that on the way home; all of the YOUNG folks we saw there last night. Maybe there IS some hope for the country yet.

It is no secret that colleges today are infested with leftwing loons at the podiums and from what I understand from students I personally know, BSU is no different.

What I saw last night from the student body President right on down...........tells me that there are a lot of young folks out there who obviously AREN'T buying into the Marxist/Mao crap anymore. They KNOW the debt and problems they're being handed. They are wide awake and LISTENING.

The few hundred I saw last night do not represent the entire student body of course, but it was a few hundred more than I THOUGHT I'd see.

I think too, that a lot of these kids know that while Ron Paul is a Congressmen, he doesn't hide the corruption of D.C. with "Gibbs-like speeches". He exposes the morons back there, and is not popular even among Republicans in Washington because things he'd like to get rid of would also cut into the GOP gravy train as well.

They call him "Dr No" back there, because if it isn't within the boundaries of the Constitution, he won't support it, which is what got a lot of us on board with him in 2008--------------also why the GOP had him EXCLUDED from several televised debates during their primaries. Like the Democrats, they too, don't always want the American people to hear about any corruption.

Oh yes, our side is getting to be almost as dirty as theirs sometimes, that's why an INTELLIGENT voter always checks the voting reords of the candidates before they vote one way or the other.

Ron Paul will probably continue being re-elected in Texas because they know him well, and trust him to tell the truth. However, he'll never be President because the REST of them in D.C. have "empires" to protect and don't WANT truth being exposed. He probably has to sit by himself in the cafeteria.

But he wasn't alone last night, and for awhile there, I thought we "seniors" were gonna be a minority!

And that's good..........and I am so proud of our young folks who I once thought could "care less" about this sabotage we're undergoing.

There was a ray of hope last night, and it wasn't all coming from Ron's podium.
