I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

Good Sense

In the blogs lately, there is a lot of discontent. Lots of pokin' and prodding. If you think about it, we've all done it.

I've heard that everything you need to know to survive, you have learned by the time you are 5 years old. That is so true I think. You've learned "Please" "Thank You" and you've learned to be fair...or there can be consequences that we might not like. It's later when we learn to be devious, and cunning. "Learn" to be devious and cunning. We are NOT born that way.

The caption in the photo below is really how I feel. Children and horses are not sly, and looking for a way to "get you" and "get more for themselves" They want fairness, and fun.... a good life. And they don't mind if you have it too.

I wrote a poem about such things... (I'm entering it in the whistle pig thing for grandpa so I won't post it here... yet) You will like it though, mom.

Your entrees in these blogs are the only ones I look at anymore. Sometimes a few others. All the rest, they just make me angry. I've typed out paragraphs and paragraphs of retorts to some of them. I just end up deleting them. Some people will never see sense, and those are the people not even worth the anger, the breath, the time, energy, etc. The minute we start typing back at them is when we become just like them, at least I tell myself that! And I've noticed you take the high road too... :)

And by the way, everyone, KTLM is my daughter. Her comment here tonight has made me very proud of her. She is strong minded, strong bodied, ethical, and a great daughter and Mom to my grandsons.

Because of knowing that she, among other family read these blogs, I don't say alot of the 'retorts' that I might otherwise. I don't to be "just like them" in her eyes. There ya have it
