HalloweenPosted Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 3:07 PM
We love any reason for a "Get Together" so we had two for Halloween! We had thought about having a Bon Fire, but it just didn't work out to make the fire (so we still have it prepared)
But we had hot dogs and apple cider, along with some other ghoulish treats. Lots of the kids in these photos are kids that come to have lessons on our horses. We grew pumpkins all summer to make sure that each child that frequents our place was able to take home a pumpkin. I learned that the pumpkins plants do NOT need to be inside the fenced are of the garden. They absolutely TOOK OVER …. next year, they are banned from the actual garden area. However, when it came time for the kids to pick their pumpkins, it didn't seem so bad after all. (Kind of like child birth, after it's over…..) I was a bit concerned because two of the pumpkins didn't get very orange… just wanted to be partially green. My grandsons found those to be the pick of the crop, so yep, there is 'someone for everyone"
On the actual day of Halloween, I was able to get be the one to get Jilly & Bryce ready to go out and Haunt the Town. That was pretty darn fun, seeing them get more and more excited!
We had a visitor peering in from time to time. I have finally managed to rid our house of him!

I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.
