not personally, but I once met his cousin Larry...

One word blog with so much meaning.

I didn't know what it meant so, I looked it up. I don't know if this is what you were intending with this blog but, what I found blew me away.

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

Was this Obama's intended goal? It's a shame when you HAVE to question a Presidents motives at every turn but, he's the one who has made it like this.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 11:47 AM

Yes KT, that is what I was wanting to be seen. Scary huh?

Blows me away times ..... Well endlessly

-- Posted by jessiemiller on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 12:07 PM

Scary isn't the word, this administration is demonic! I have said it before, this guy is putting everything right infront of peoples faces but most on the left choose not to see it. It's like they all have Stockholm Syndrome!

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 12:35 PM

Yep, had a conversation yesterday pretty much to that affect. Right in front of their noses, & they don't see it.

-- Posted by jessiemiller on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 12:43 PM

E-mails regarding this topic circulated back in 2010. I would hope that those of you who are actually looking into this take the time to find out multiple sides of the story. For starters, check out the following (reputable) sites:

""Dhimmitude" and the Muslim Exemption" from factcheck.org

"Are Muslims Exempt from 'ObamaCare' Health Insurance Mandate?"

Do any of you personally know of any Muslims that will be trying to use this or who have even talked about it?

-- Posted by idahogrown on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 12:49 PM

I don't personally know any muslims period. I tend to stay away from people who are taught to hate me.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 12:59 PM

From what I'm gathering from your links, it's basically saying that muslims can be exempt if they so choose. Just because it doesn't name them specifically doesn't mean they can't apply for the exemption and get it. Now, let a Catholic try that and see how quickly they will be turned down. And I'm sure the ACLU or the Council on American-Islamic Relations will not be there to back them up like they would the Muslims.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 1:10 PM

And they say that they don't have favorites.

-- Posted by KH Gal on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 1:27 PM

The only true statement Obama made when he was running for election was that he would "fundamentally transform America". I don't think people understood what he really meant when he said that. I hope its becoming clearer to people now. He and his regime hates America and everything it stands for. This Obamacare bill isn't just a healthcare bill. More and more stuff like this Dhimmitude is being unearthed from this massive piece of legislation that most of the politicians that passed the bill didn't even bother reading. The Supreme Court can't even read or understand it either. But our man Obama threatens them that they'd better okay the constituionality of the bill anyway. It's just mind-boggling what this regime is getting away with. We need to take this country back before it's too late.

-- Posted by Second Wind on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 3:09 PM

This reminds me of another little gem that was unearthed from Obamacare: the fact that Americans who make over $200,000 a year and sell their home will have to pay a real estate tax of 3.8% to the government. Can anyone tell me what a real estate tax has to do with healthcare? The bloggers who support Obama on this newsite never responded to that question. In fact, I gathered that this extra real estate tax levied on upper income people didn't bother them at all because the evil, nasty, rich people have to pay it and not them. So it's all good! But, once this tax becomes effective in 2013, it can easily be amended to apply to lower income earners. The current policy with respect to dhimmitude can easily be amended, too.

-- Posted by Second Wind on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 3:29 PM

Good lord! It also exempts the Amish, Mennonites and other religions.

You know, in case some of you folks didn't bother to read my comment on Mike's paranoia blog, everybody was just fine with American's rights being violated or taken away because they are Muslim. Now those powers that allowed that could be aimed at YOU! You didn't squawk then, but you sure are now!

Get a freaking grip! You keep up this baloney, and the next thing you know Pastors will no longer be able to opt out of Social Security for religious reasons. In fact religious objections period could go away completely since all of you are so willing to allow some breach now.

Your bigotry could very well come back to bite YOU!

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 5:34 PM

The world stood by silently while Hitler started killing the Jews. They stood by when it was the Gypsies. Then the aged, infirm, mentally ill, the list goes on. Only when it was the Christians that were targeted was a word said. Net result, 6 million Jews exterminated, countless others that fell into the other categories, exterminated.Keep it up and there will be a replay and YOU could be next!

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 5:40 PM

Bigotry? If not liking people that are raised to hate me makes me a bigot, then check that box off for me. I'll say it right now... I do not like muslims. Nice ones, mean ones, yellow ones, green ones... I don't like em. Cassius Clay, nice man, even from my home city, probably one of the best boxers of all times, once he changed his name and became a muslim (even though I was not around then) would have lost all respect in my book.

Call me a bigot, call me racist, just something about a person that is brought up to despise me and flys planes into buildings that kind of turns me off about them.

And no, Roy. You didn't give us an earfull like you told MsM. Not even half an earfull. And then you have the nerve to talk about breach? Are you serious? What about the breach of your President? How about how he is breaching the Constitution? You want to come down on people on this blog for stating what they believe in but you don't have a bad word to say about this administration?? Independant my butt.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 5:56 PM

You can check that box off for me too. Muslims don't belong in this country. They are violent, mysognistic terrorists who hate Americans because we are a free people, and treat our women as equals. They do not practice tolerance towards other religions. They cannot be allowed to gain a foothold in this country and I will defend any group that prevents them from coming here. So, I guess that makes me a racist. So be it.

-- Posted by Second Wind on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 6:09 PM

KT, you have failed to read some of my comments about Obama.

Buckshot, same old same old from you, as expected.

From all of, not a single rational reply to either of my comments.

When you GIVE certain powers to the government to persecute one group or another, it can be impossible to retrieve those powers.

The government hasn't taken anything that wasn't freely given when it was intended to be used against others.

Defend your actions if you can!

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 6:28 PM

I have had alot of computer problems but I am back and its time for me to comment.

Roy why don't you go back to where you came from, you fit right in with that bunch in Ca. Your under the opionion everything you say or put links in on is 100 % truth and no lies, got some bad news for you, you don't have a clue most of the time. Your quote "Defend your actions if you can", seems like you can't be bothered to back up your junk of an opinion.

Take for example you didn't like comments on your blog so you removed them and then put them back, now you have removed you last blog entry completely just to remove the comments, can't stand the heat stay away from the fire.

When it comes to Muslins I go with the others I don't know any and don't want to, why should I like someone that is out only to see if they can kill me and others in the West.

Far as I could care you can take your blog and all your comments and get off here, talk to people in your area or Ca, I for one sure not interested in any more of your junk.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 6:46 PM

And another member of the right wing version of Reid-Pelosi checks in.

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 6:58 PM

Yep just like you pointed out to grammaidaho you fall right in there. your ignorance is absolutely amazing!

Yep I am right wing and Reid and Pelosi are idiots, so join them you will fit right in.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 7:06 PM

Hey, Pratt, why don't you continue this thread on your own blog. That way, when you don't like the posts from us "right-wingers', well, then you can hit that lil ol'delete button again!

-- Posted by Second Wind on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 7:09 PM

I'll post when and where I feel like!

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 7:29 PM

Hey Roy ever play black jack, if not let me tell you how. Name of the game is to get 21, you get your cards one is an Ace and the other a 10 card and you are so smart you take a hit and get another Ace now you have 12 and then take another hit get a truck as it is called and now have 22, Busted you play the same game with your comments, Busted.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 7:29 PM

My people as you call them fought against the Patriot Act, the beginning of the end for the Bill of Rights. We were called soft and weak. Derided and shouted down. The chickens are now coming home to roost. Thanks.

-- Posted by royincaldwell on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 8:05 PM

Really, Roy? Because if I'm reading this right 145 Democrats voted for it and only 62 voted against.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 8:15 PM

Oh, and only one, read (1), Dem. Senator voted against it when the first voted in 2001.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 8:24 PM

May as well add this e-mail also.

I hope you all get to see this disgusting video of how Libya and these Muslims hate Americans and British. We liberated Libya from the Nazis and now this is how they treat the dead. Shame on them and our President for praising the Muslims and Libyan \.

Yeah, let's send these people more foreign aid! Ignorant/////... Our President apologized for the burning of their Koran, but at the same time he is not saying or doing a thing about this. PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK AND WATCH THE THANKFUL PEOPLE OF LIBYA... THESE ARE THE FOLKS WHO GET OFFENDED BY THE BURNING OF THE QURAN. FEEL BETTER ABOUT THAT APOLOGY YET?

Had to remove a couple of words but you will get the meaning and those that don't like the links should look at this ones and what Muslins think of us.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 9:07 PM

Joe, link won't work for me

-- Posted by jessiemiller on Wed, Apr 4, 2012, at 9:17 PM

After looking at the comments here, I am pretty sad. The word "You" has been used with abandon. Our views personal have become personal instead of being objective.

As long as we rise up against each other instead of finding a common ground, this country will suffer.

As long as there are individuals who live to stir things up and others who fall for the ruse, we will have discord.

All week long, I have been trying to think of a blog that commemerates the Ressurection to bring honor to the very Being that gave us all life. So I am still thinking about the right words to say.

I will leave you with two this morning. Jesus Wept.

-- Posted by KH Gal on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 7:42 AM

Your call. I didn't name names or pick on anyone in particular. I made a very broad and general statement.

It applies to me and my responses as well as anyone elses.

Some of the comments being thrown back and forth are starting to resemble a Lucy Show when Lucy and Ethel go shopping a store that is having a January White Sale.

We all want the best that money can buy, but first you have to make it to the sales counter intact with your merchandise and then there is a struggle to get out the door.

And then there is that hefty well-built woman who is determined to get the girdle that is two sizes too small. Lucy and Ethel can't catch a break some days and neither can we.

In the end, we all have to decide what is really important. Do we grab everything that we can get our hands on just because it is on sale? or do we choose the best fit and sprint toward the check-out counter.

Does our strategy involve aggressive maneuvers to get past the plus-size lady who is standing her ground or face to face combat?

Lucy and Ethel would change their strategies according to the shift in the situation. That is all that I am suggesting.

-- Posted by KH Gal on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 9:31 AM

Sorry, KH gal, but I agree with Buckshot. Anyone who comments on these blogs, especially about political issues, knows they are going to get an earload tossed right back at them, especially when they make dishonest comments that can be fact checked. I don't know what prompted your lecture about treating other people "the right way" or changing tactics when blogging. The last posts before your admonition to the bloggers was Pratt's assertion that the left-wingers didn't support the Patriot Act, but the conservatives did, and that's why we're in the mess we're in. After that ridiculous statement, other bloggers got on to fact-check him with a dose of reality. As others say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

-- Posted by Second Wind on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 11:18 AM

Jessie, only thing I can say is try the link again, I tryed it early this morning and it opened but froze after a few seconds and then I tryed it a few ago and it opened and the video worked so I really don't know what is wrong with it.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 12:11 PM

Joe, KT sent it to me & I was able to watch it. Quite nauseating. I've shared it

Thank you

-- Posted by jessiemiller on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 1:30 PM

Now that the Tea Party has taken over the Republican Party, more and more moderate conservatives are likely turning to the Independent Party like I have. As Second Wind said, "the Republican Party doesn't want or need [people like] me". And I certainly don't need nor want the extremism of the new Republican Party. Guess Independents and Democrats will get support from a place they never thought it would come from.

-- Posted by bondyweb on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 2:11 PM

Viewed your video clip.

The comtempt and hate displayed here is sickening.

You simply cannot appease a rattlesnake if it wants to strike.

And Strike They Did.

We can use the two words that I used this morning for this display of hatred.

Jesus Wept.

-- Posted by KH Gal on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 2:42 PM

BONDY........THEY want to inter you and kill you.....in short you dont belong........there way or the hiway...........MANIFEST DESTINEY alive and well.........it will be the downfall of us all.........BUT IT's easy to be that way if you feel you will be part of the ruling classe.....stay sane..........

-- Posted by lamont on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 2:46 PM

Anyone notice that during WW2 if you said you hated the Germans or the Japanese, that no one would give you a problem about it? Same thing when we were fighting the NVA. Even during the Cold War no one would bat an eye if you said you hated the Russians. Now that we are fighting the Muslims, you aren't aloud to say that you hate them. Why is that? It wasn't the Jews that flew those planes and started this war, I don't think it was even the Irish. We all know who it was and it's about time that we can say we don't like them without being called hate mongers or Nazis.

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 3:42 PM

KT, I hope that our paths cross soon I would like to meet you.

-- Posted by Eagle_eye on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 3:49 PM

I agree Buckshot. And EagleEye, it would be my pleasure :)

-- Posted by KentuckyTransplant on Thu, Apr 5, 2012, at 4:34 PM

My husband always says the "conservatives" are the true "liberals" because they believe in the most freedom for people; and today's "liberals" are the true "conservatives" because they want to envelop themselves in a blanket of government protection, not take chances or risks in life or be independent.
