I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

1st Graders Beautiful Concert

I don't need to say a lot here, but I do have something to say.

Tim Corder came and spoke to the kids about Martin Luther King's Dream. I loved what he had to say. I know not all of you are fans, but I am, for several reasons. One big reason, is that he's a family man, and is truly dedicated to that family, and the children. And really, CHILDREN are what it's all about. They are our future.

After he spoke, they sang a song thanking GOD. They raised their little arms and hands.... and I'm not afraid to say, I got choked up!

It was beautiful, and I am proud to say I had two 1st Grade Grand Children there. It was awesome

Jilly is the little blonde looking at me, with a huge smile on her face!

Austin is in the very left of the photo, with checkered shirt.

They love this teacher!

They are singing about Thanking GOD for their Freedom. Let's all remember that these are our future.

My three year old grandson just "took" Grandma upstairs to her room to show her where her bed was, so "they" could take a nap.

He's just coming off a bout with chicken pox and seems to have a six year molar trying to break through this week.

BTW, neither take naps.

That's ok I was only curious, I was a volunteer over at West years ago. I worked with the 2nd graders.

He is doing fine. He took the nap. Grandma and now his Mom are upstairs sewing.

Peace and quiet for Grandpa in the downstairs area.

Perhaps I'll consider another single photo article before the weekend.

Yes, You are right about that. They are born for great things. WE kill parts of them along the way. They often wind up a mere shell of what they could have been.

I mean We as in, Me, You, Them, They, that Person, some drunk, their Mom, Their Dad, a local pedophile,

All to different degrees. They never forget, and so easy to forgive

First let me say children's safety should always come first and I understand completely why you don't mention school. I remember the days when school doors weren't locked.

looking at the children in your pictures makes me wonder what some face when they leave school...

My heart just swelled with pride that you didn't say which school. Thank You. :) There may be some great people on here... but until met face to face, I don't trust them.
