All in a Week’s TimePosted Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 9:36 PM
We have fun... it's what we do, so I just thought I'd share some of it. What kid wouldn't love to do this in an afternoon?
Little bit of a smile here huh?
It's always funner when there's more than 1
We play a game called "rope" or sumthin.... They have to stay together and 'rate' their horses.... it's not really that easy
Got a foot over the rope here. The good thing is, they can let go. But they learn to figure these things out. Safely
Meanwhile in the barn, my daughter, Jess, is getting the filly used to being touched. This also is not as easy as it may look.
Another nite
Jilly Loves to ride as much as she can
is that a Sassy look or what???
I think Al is starting to like to go fast
Jilly is getting the speed disease.... We've been waiting
sun going down, but they don't wanna quit
Rope Race. There is a lot of learning being learned here. Guiding your horse, handling reins, watching one another, and keeping happy horses underneath ya.... As you can see, girls and horses all look happy. I'm happy too
In this game, they take a stick out of one bucket and run across the field and put it in another bucket. Again, a lot of learning going on
I sure love this girl. And she loves her horse
Remember the sky last night ?? Beautiful
Bryce had to ride too...so Al led him around. He likes to trot. He calls it "Bumping Around" But check out his legs. I've told him where they need to be ...and he never lets them waiver. This is gonna be a Cowboy to watch.
He has a big belly laugh here.... cuz he's 'bumping'

I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

Thanks! It's a disease to take photos of what's going on around me!
What a great disease to have! Thanks.
Beautiful Children. What fun!
Thanks everyone!
How fun is that ! Very lucky kids to have you as Grandma .....
I got a question for you. My neighbors have horses sometimes and they are forever moving horses. Sometimes they might have 5-6 and other times only one. Now they have one and he was put in their pasture the other day. I seen it running and running all over the place. Does that mean he is happy? While he was running he was bobbing his head up and down ?
Horses are just like people in many ways. Some are more active than others. So this lone single horse might be active and just like running around. OR, he is lonely and a bit nervously looking for a buddy. Horses are by nature a herd animal, and like to be together.
Who knows, ...but if he has lots of hay, water... he'll likely be happy and settle down soon.
Thanks Jess I was a bit worried because of the running. This is the first time I have seen their horses do that. He'll probably be moved in a couple days. Not sure why they are playing musical horses..... I don't know them that well to ask them. At least not yet lol!
We move horses alot. Some go to work, some come home for lessons. There are all kinds of reasons. I have one home right now, that was injured, he'll leave once healed completely. Or I've boarded horses, so those might be there for a couple days/weeks....
Just lots of reasons for lots of things!
I think they have a lot of horses among their family so what ever they are doing their always moving them. Maybe they board horses :)
