My Friend, no matter where I goPosted Sunday, August 21, 2011, at 4:37 PM
You know, I hope everyone has someone they can always count on. I'm lucky. I have a family who is always there for me.... no matter what I do, or where I go. I have friends who've become family over the years I've known them. I have 3 children by blood, and more than I can count that I've adopted. Along with this, I have a sister, who's name is Sharon. I met her thru 4-H nearly 20 years ago, and we've been close the whole time. She has helped me thru some really hard times, and never made judgements. Just was there. She's done some traveling the last few months to see where I am.... and thank God for her. She drove to the Alvord to visit with me for a few days. Here she is letting my dogs out for a run, ... We investigated lots of old buildings while she was there She was a good sport when I took her thru a goopy muddy spot and her boots got pulled off by the mud! She appreciated the character of the place, as I did Like me, she was amazed at the Beauty every where you looked She brought her Grandson Wyatt to visit us in Cascade. She appreciates this life, and the fact that so many kids don't get a chance to experience it.
She loves my Family.... Teaching Wyatt to ride, is like teaching another Grandson. He is nearly the age Ginny was when I started teaching her. What comes around....goes around.
As I've said...everyone has to do their share of work. Newbies get to work the gates! But sometimes we let them have help Taking a break from work....time to play We take salt to the calves.... 50# bags are heavy.... checking out the salt We decided to let them chase the truck Bryce wanted to push the truck My front porch. No boots allowed in the house Curiosity got the best of them. They had to taste the salt. I remember doing this at about their age.
Thank you Sharon for being my chosen sister Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

Thank you, Jessie, my chosen sister. You have a way of saying what I can only feel in my heart.
I'm not good at "saying" what I feel...so I rely on the "typed" word.
I love to spill my guts on a blog
