I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

It does kind of say "America the Beautiful" doesn't it?

I have to agree with Old guy except to say the background makes the picture more exceptional. Thank you Jessie.
I agree EE, it is always a good day to show our colors.
Great picture as always Jessie. I like OG and arw always show our Flag with the upmost pride and it would be nice if everyone would always have the Flags flying like afternoon 9-11-01.
I have never served, but my Dad did, and Uncles... so, I'm basically an "Airforce Brat" and proud to be. (Though we are from here anyway) I get 'that rush' of tears every time I hear multiple voices raise to the National Anthem. I LOVE being at a rodeo, and seeing everyone, Young and Old, healthy and not so healthy, stand and salute. And there really isn't much better of a sight, than our flag furling in the wind, with our beautiful country behind it.
I had told my guy that I had to get a picture for my friend Old Guy. When I took that one, he said "Old Guy will be proud of you"
Thanks for your comments!
Jessie
I love seeing things like this Jessie. Great photo! I joined the military right after Sept 11 because I was damn sure going to help protect this beautiful land. I loved it! I have served 3 times in Iraq. My husband is active duty also and I have to say that I am so proud. Everyday I am proud. I was even more proud when I saw how patriotic people got after 9-11 and I am sad to see it isn't like it was. THe display on 9-11 by the fire dept make me tear up and and I am so proud.
I have to tell you, whenever I hear someone sing the national anthem or especially taps play, I just get tears in my eyes.
Thank you also Old guy for your service and your childrens service. I am done with my thought. Thanks again Jessie!
Any picture with the greatest flag in the world fits the bill perfectly. Way to go.
