  • That is me and my horse! Wow 4 years later and I just happened by chance to have found this it warms my heart! She is actually a pure bred Shire Draft horse, 18.1 hh and that was the only year the fair board allowed me to compete with her in the riding classes. They had so many complaints from the light horses I was told to stay in the draft division, which doesn't have riding classes because most people don't use drafts for riding. Sad but what a glorious time we had that year :) She was a rescue horse that I spent a year rehabilitating, and ended up winning blue ribbons in every class at the fair. She was as gentle and kid as she was big and beautiful. Thank you for the picture!!
