Nice selections MsMarylin. I couldn't agree more.

  • Beautiful pics! Where was the buffalo at? I've seen lots of buffalo since moving to North Dakota but I don't believe I ever saw any in Idaho.

  • Hi Ktlm I'm not sure where he took that picture. That's one of Art Hales pictures.

I do remember back in the 70's across from the Simplot feed lot in Grandview there were buffalo.

I'll ask him where and when the picture was taken. You can view many beautiful pictures of Idaho from various photographers on facebook "Images of Idaho"

They will take your breath away.

There are buffalo privately owned in several places in Idaho. There are some as close as Glenns Ferry. Horseshoe Bend has some.

  • I contacted Art he said the picture was taken in Swan Valley.

He said there was a herd of domesticated Buffalo about 250 strong. He also said he has seen them in New Plymouth and Nampa.

Jessie you jogged my memory I was thinking I had seem a few in Glenns Ferry a long time ago.

Remember when buffalo burgers were the big deal?
