Is there life after Death ?Posted Sunday, November 14, 2010, at 1:59 PM
Have you ever felt a touch on the back of your shoulder and you turn and look and no one is there, or you thought you felt something brush up against you? Maybe your heard a noise and something fell to the floor unexplained?
I was always uncertain if there was life after death until a few years ago when my step-dad passed. My parents were living in Tucson and the night he passed, a lamp on the end table would not turn off. I would turn it off and it would come on again all by itself. This went on for awhile until I unplugged the lamp.. After his death I moved my Mother here to Mountain Home in 2002 and moved her belongings with her. I set the lamp up in her room and the same thing happened. That lamp would turn on by itself so I unpluged it once again, and it stayed unplugged for over a year Fast forward>>>> My Mom is now in the Nursing Home. I plugged the lamp back in and never had a problem with it again and I figure because my Mom is no longer living in my house that's why I 'm not having any problem with it, UNTIL the day my Mom Passed in 2009. That day It started flickering on and off for a few days and then stopped. This lamp has been sitting in my living room since 2005 with no problem. I turn it on every night and turn it off every night. It did not flicker until my Mom passed in 2009 only for a few days. I have not had another problem with it since then and we are now at the end of 2010. There is NO short in this lamp I also had brought back from their home in Tucson a desk lamp. The desk lamp started acting up. It would do the same thing the other one did, come on by itself, however this one was a little different then the other one, it would also shut itself off. I still use it and it still turns on and off by itself. It has been slowing down on turning on and off since this summer and it has NO short in the wiring I truly believe it was my step-dad speaking to my Mom when she was alive, and he had passed, this was the first time they had been separated. They had been married for 50 years, and then after she passed she was reaching out to me via 2 different lamps in different rooms Last winter when we got a little dusting of snow I was looking out my front window and seen an image on my sidewalk. I grabbed my cell phone and took a picture. Stood there and looked at the image for awhile and called my husband and son to see what I was seeing. When it warmed up the image was gone and I forgot about it. Months passed and I got me a new cell phone and used the new one until about a month ago when I gave it to my Grandson and I went back to my old one. The other day I was looking at my pictures that were still stored on my phone and there it was the IMAGE . I sent it to my computer and here it is >>>>>>
What do you think? Notice NO foot prints anywhere around it and remember the picture was taken from me standing inside the house. The Snow was not melting at the time I took the picture. I took the picture when we were getting a light dusting of snow. I have no clue who this could be. It looks like I had a visitor from the beyond ! I am now a believer that there is life after death !! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Yes:
John 14:2-4 (New King James Version)
2 In My Father's house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know."
Because that wasn't the question.
Looks like Washingtons nose on the dollar bill...
I had the WIDOW MAKER HEART ATTACK and DIED 3 times....They brought me back by shocking me so many times the whites of my eyes was pure blood red...Now I have a Heart Defibulator in my chest...Which has shocked me 6 times since it was put in...NO I DO NOT Believe in life after death...Not a chance....I remember everything...
The White light Which was like looking at a Movie screen only totally white..Just Face It...People are JUST AFRAID TO DIE... So They Come Up With All These Stupid Ideas of Death...And Life after Death...I Died 3 times that Christmas Morning and it was the SAME EVERY TIME...IT'SW not that I din't Believe in life after deatd THERE IS NO LIFE AFTER DEATH PERIOD....
But Roy, you didn't really die. Your heart stopped..... but you weren't gone yet. Did you see the light, and walk towards it,or just see it? I sure don't know what the truth is, but you've proven that there "is" something.... because you saw it. But you're alive now, so you didn't go all the way.
Thanks for sharing your story, it was interesting

I did die (all the way as you call it)The doctor even went as far as to go to the waiting room and told my wife that I had expired...I would be a fool to tell you what happened to me.Death and Religion have NOTHING in common!!!!I told only what You need to know about the end of a persons life.. I died 3 times to find it out....There is a lot more but why should I have to prove what happens at death to anybody...I'm as Scared as I can be to die again...You all should be too....
I died 3 times ....

In a sense though you also have been reborn 3 times. Many wish for a second chance. Roys you have been given three. I'm kind of like on borrowed time myself. Maybe you/we have something else to do. I don't have the foggiest notion as to what that one big thing for me to do is. Maybe it's a series of small little bitty things. I really don't know. But there must be a reason. Or at least I sure hope that there is.

Death is nothing to fear. I find it very comforting knowing that. I admit, the physical pain that accompanies your particular death, is not something that I look forward to. But, the reward waiting for me is nothing to compare.
Roy I am so sorry for the pain you have gone through and I hope the very best for you and that you will have many more years on this earth.
It really doesn't matter if you believe or you don't believe. It's whatever helps you get through difficult tiumes here on earth.

Wow Roy....
YOu have no idea what you are talking about in my opinion only. Those of us who believe KNOW that there is something greater than what we know here on this earth...and that the ones we love and and miss are waiting for us so that we may be together again...for eternity.....You didnt die. AND THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH....because I couldnt live the rest of my days comfortably if I knew I wouldnt see my boyfriend who passed recently, hes waiting and watching and we will be together again someday....
Exactly KCP, I have lost family, ..(As most do), I have Grandparents that I loved very dearly. But I've also a daughter, and a sister waiting for our reunions. And like KC, I wouldn't live comfortably without the KNOWLEDGE of the joy we will have once again. Don't get me wrong, I have joy now in this life, with my family, but I have no doubt, that I'd have never felt that joy, without the promise of our reunions.
Everyone has their own "ideas" of what Heaven must be. And my thought is that "Heaven" is going to be exactly what we wish for. I am pleased with how beautiful mine is.
