Yes, it DOES matter who we vote in as president, because whoever he is, whatever party he's from, he has to have SOME degree of experience, but more than that, he has to be a leader. Obama is neither...........nor was McCain, or Bush who preceeded him.

Reagan was able to keep America at the top because he governed from a position of strength and did not hesitate to USE it.

Obama, like Carter before him, is an "appeaser".

I want US to always have that "shotgun." In a distrustful, evil world, it's called PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.

Obama may in fact have his own version of "good intentions" but he's a rookie at this "world game". A kid with a slingshot is not yet old enough to handle real guns. And the people who surround and advise him are not doing him or this country any favors.

The Democratic party USED him. Window dressing to get their foot in the door. They are STILL using him to push through their age-old, foolish, twisted agendas, and as long as they keep the applause coming his way, he still thinks he's steering the ship.

Oh, there's no doubt that many of these goofy ideas ARE his........but they don't mind supporting anything that fits in with their personal and political ambitions.

But Dave...........there is too much at stake here to just "give up YOUR guns." Even if you feel you CAN trust the other guys, if YOU disarm first, the temptation of absolute power is too great for the "other guy" to resist. For them, the iron would never be hotter, when you suddenly found yourself with a decided advantage.

America is a free country because of the will of its people to remain that way. We are NOT, and have NEVER been "bullies", but the mere EXISTENCE of our military might, has been a sobering deterrent to anyone foolish to try anything.

9/11 happened because Bush was weak. Everybody knew it. Had that happened on Reagan's watch, Afghanistan would have been a glowing sheet of glass within the next couple of days. Everybody knew THAT too.

The advantage WE have is that unlike the German people, WE have historical film and accounts of the attrocities to fall back on and review. The Germans did NOT, and the takeovers were ALL NEW to them.

They SHOULDN'T be to us, and the American people, REGARDLESS of party,should see the handriting, which is now as big as a BILLBOARD, and stand together, left and right both, and DEMAND that our Constitution be FOLLOWED-----the same one the crooks in D.C. all swore an oath to.

WE'RE "paying the bills", and as long as we are, we SHOULD have SOME friggin' SAY about this! If the Dems actually stepped back out of the box and really looked at this, THEY'D be out there marching with US. They're gonna pay for this too, and THEIR jobs aren't safe either now.

There remain some Democrats out there who are still on the "Obama Honeymoon." But wait until they start going into the clinics looking for all this "free" care, and get told that it doesn't start kicking in until 2014......but they're being taxed NOW, and they're being laid off NOW.

They have to TAX us into oblivion first, to get the MONEY for this. That's why the IRS involvement. They're putting a TRIPLE TAX on BEER in a couple of states. They're taxing tanning salons and even dating services. They'll be installing a tax meter on your TOILET before long!

And if left UNCHECKED.........when/if 2014 DOES come around, they'll STILL be broke and they'll STILL want to squeeze more from us, because most of the taxes that were SUPPOSED to go into "Obamacare" will have been squandered on MORE useless crap. The government is NOT going to stop THEIR over-spending, as long as they can keep getting the taxpayers to foot the bill.

We can't get rid of Obama until 2012, Kim, but if we can pull this crooked Congress out from under him in November, the whole country will be better off. The person that prays the most for peace is not the politician, nor the peace loving liberals, it is the American Soldier. But until the day peace is at hand and we can lay down our arms, our sons and daughters will continue to fight for the freedoms first won on the fields of Concord and Lexington.

The property taxes on our homes all go up TOGETHER. Government intrusions and mandates do not separate themselves by partylines, race or gender.

If you don't buy their insurance, the IRS will take from you whether you voted for Obama or McCain.

In some respects, we're all in this together, whether we want to be or not.

Instead of fighting each other, we OUGHT to be taking it to WASHINGTON in one solid voice!

Actually, the more I think about it, we don't really NEED a Tea Party here, or anywhere else in Idaho. Our governor was 1st or 2nd to file a lawsuit against Washington, and the hard majority in this state pretty much have it "together"
