Actually, I admire your honesty about being a proud Obama supporter. It's not easy to find too many of them right now.

My last post was in reference to Bazookaman's post on 18 Dec 09 BTW.

Also, I am proud to be a supporter of President Obama (in case you were wondering) but it doesn't mean I agree with every decision he makes.

And where does it say that taxes collected shall be used for OTHER than AMERICAN health & welfare?

Where does it say our TROOPS can be used for the defense of OTHER countries?

And it DOES say our tax dollars shall be PUBLICLY ACCOUNTED FOR to the people.

(If your copy of the Constitution reads the same as mine).

CFR code 26 of the IRS's OWN MANUAL says the income tax is VOLUNTARY. What does VOLUNTARY mean to YOU?

And look at the amendments before and after the 16th..."Congress shall have power to".........."Congress shall have power to."

If the Constitution doesn't specifically say the Congress can DO something, it CANNOT.

With Sotomeyer and a few others just like her already on the Supreme Court though, it'll be meaningless................as they don't enforce the Constitution.......they legislate from the bench.

Geithner, Dodd, Rangel, Nelson...........and a host of others. These thieves aren't representing us, they're ROBBING us! If they don't have to follow their own rules, why should WE?

And i still maintain that when the masses are brushed aside, they are NOT being represented.

No taxation without representation..............or do our founders' outlines only apply when it "suits our purposes"? One set of rules for US, and a different set for THEM? Is THAT how it is now?

It explains the government's "power" to tax income as an excise tax based on a privilege tax only know to the goverment.

I found it interesting the last pargraph of the article states,

The Constitution is a tough nut to crack...it has resisted manipulations from all parties and many individuals from its 1st draft to present. A vote of 3/4 of the States is required to ratify the rules.

Between Aug 1909 and Mar 1911, 38 states voted to ratifiy the 16th Amendment...our own Idaho was the 11th in order. Using H&R Block , or any other tax rep outfit, as a legal source makes as much sense as relying on a PayDay Loan clerk for financial planning advice. Be careful out there.

refusing to pay taxes would be a first step. I believe that a broader measure is needed. Something such as a complete shutdown of all productive enterprise such as what Gandhi led in India. That instant, quantifiable drop in revenues and influence crippled that economy. Yes, I know that our economy is suffering but I have to say that most able-bodied people lead pretty good lives. They may not have big screen TVs but their basic needs are meet.

Once we had Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.

Now we have Obama, no cash and no hope.

Luckily, I have managed to evade the officials who wish to gag the writing abilities of us EXers. Of course, we know that if things get really bad, I will be on a list with many others who will have to decide whether or not speaking truth is worth being arrested for. I would be prepared for that. My anger and outrage over the terror prisioners being brought to our homeland to be tried in a "civil" court is beyond belief. How could we allow this to happen? This is a serious miscarriage of justice to the Nth degree.

Taxation without representation was the very motto that started our free nation. If every person who opposes the current Congress and the lack of representation would band together and refuse to pay taxes it would bring the gov't to a standstill. Without our taxes, they can't keep spending. And there aren't enough cellblocks to hold us all for tax evasion. The court system wouldn't be able to put us on trial for years. It doesn't work if only a few take a stand. It would only work if a real number do it and do it loudly so that the whole country hears about it.

I don't mind letting the Census people know the basics. I am one of the offices that relies on Census numbers for many reasons. Anyone who wants to get a business loan to start a business would also need current numbers for the area that they wish to serve and use those numbers and details in their business plans. There is no argument from me that the Census is very important. However, going beyond the basic information would become an invasion of my privacy. I won't answer those questions and if they don't like it, arrest me.

Income tax forms will not be used to register or inventory my household guns. Again, they can arrest me.

There are certain reasons that I would gladly go to jail in order to stand firm on my political and moral beliefs. There are times when we must take a stand and the time is coming pretty darn soon.

I've seen the sample census form. How does telling the government what time we leave for work, and questions about our personal bank accounts, have ANYTHING to do with the population?

The IRS expects us to be stupid enough to provide them a LIST of all of our firearms BY SERIAL NUMBER, when we file our tax returns next year.

Why? For what reason? What has your grand dad's old 30-30 deer rifle got to do with your taxes?

Anyone who can't see through all this, shouldn't be eligible to vote.

Good deal. Every poll shows the majority of Americans don't want their healthcare tampered with, and the GOP will certainly remind the mid-term voters next year, that this was STRICTLY a leftwing show.

I certainly don't dismiss any of it, Kim. Obama's proposing (over in Copenhagen) to eventually donate 100 million of our tax dollars each year (by 2010) to the developing nations for this "climate" crap.

The U.N. is processing it's own "special gold" which they intend to make a one-world order currency with, which may well make all these "buy gold" from 20 different companies, little more than a waste of time, hope and money.

I saw photos of the U.N. coins the other day on another computer and wish I'd have grabbed a pen and jotted down the website.....instead of just grumbling "Wonderful....what's next?".........and storming off.

The continued EXCLUSION of the GOP within the closed doors of the "4th Reich", isn't working well, because now there are DEMOCRATS (supposedly in Obama's pocket), who are not with him.

His allowing of Eric Holder to bring those GITMO terrorists to New York for a civilian trial, has REALLY upset people, especially those who lost loved ones in 9/11.

You realize of course, that in a CIVILIAN court, they could get off clean because their "rights" were never read to them.

This should have been done in a MILITARY TRIBUNAL, as with ANY enemy combatants.

And he still covers for his fellow Muslims by refusing to call these, "acts of "

terrorism"................oh no.........."man-made disasters."

He intends to legalize 12 to 13 million new "grateful leftwing voters" through amnesty next year. I'm quite sure ACORN will be glad to get them registered, teach them how to mark in the (D) block, and they'll BUS them to the polls.................at our tax dollar expense, of course.

As Americans............(for those uf us who actually ARE), it is vital that we separate what they need to know, from the things they DON'T).

Speaking of tax forms, the Constitution provides for "No Taxation Without Representation."............open question here...........somebody chime in..............pertaining to those of us who are Republicans, if our "representatives are continuing to be SHUT OUT of legislation, there is NO WAY we are being represented, correct?
