Obama Grew a Backbone!

Posted Sunday, November 15, 2009, at 10:50 AM

Lady of Grace
Update on Cophenhagen Climate meeting affectionately known as COP:

AP reported today: "In Singapore, Asia-Pacific leaders on Sunday buried hopes a key UN meeting next month would forge a binding pact to combat climate change, saying talks would drag on well past the Copenhagen meeting. Obama, speaking to his APEC counterparts "We must seek a solution that will allow all nations to grow and raise living standards without polluting our atmosphere and wreaking havoc on our climate," he said." Most of the leaders agreed that it was unrealistic to think that they can all agree and sign a legally binding treaty next month."

That was good news! However, it is not where Obama grew a backbone. So read on and you will read me write something positive about the man. The meeting in Singapore really got interesting when Obama directed a comment to Myanmar's junta (Burma) . "White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Obama called on Myanmar to free his fellow Nobel Peace laureate Suu Kyi and other political prisoners, and end oppression of minorities."

I was intrigued by this sudden powerful demand of King Obama to another powerful leader. I had to find out more about this Suu Kyi. So I searched for her. She is an amazing woman. I have to share a little about her.

She is called Daw Aung Suu Kyi and she is the dauther of a martyred General Aung San, who led his country in their fight for independence from Britain in the 1940's. Sadly, when Suu Kyi was 2 years old, her father was killed for his beliefs in 1947. She was brought up by a strong mother who served as the Burmese ambassador to India. She was educated in a Catholic school, though a Buddist and later graduated from Oxford University in England where she got married and had two sons. She always told her family that one day, she would have to go back home when duty would demand it. In 1988, the call came that her mother had suffered a stroke so she returned. Since then she has spoken passionately for democracy and the end of the horrible regime that has oppressed her people. She has been under house arrest and suffered car arrest, where she was kept in her car on the side of the road for 13 days. Like her father and mother, she was not to be deterred from speaking out. Despite the restrains of house arrest, Suu Kyi won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991.

Here is a powerful part of the speech she gave in 1995, to a conference of woman, shortly after a 6 year house arrest:

"There is an outmoded Burmese proverb still recited by men, who wish to deny that women too can play a part in bringing necessary change and progress to their society: 'The dawn rises only when the rooster crows.' But Burmese people today are well aware of the scientific reason behind the rising of dawn and the falling of dusk. And the intelligent rooster surely realizes that it is because dawn comes that it crows and not the other way around.

"It crows to welcome the light that has come to relieve the darkness of night. It is not the prerogative of men alone to bring light to the world: women with their capacity for compassion and self-sacrifice, their courage and perseverance, have done much to dissipate the darkness of intolerance and hate, suffering and despair." To read more go to: www.dassk.com

What an amazing and powerful woman who has fought against tyranny despite continual arrest. She is considered an EXtreme enemy of her government and kept under house arrest in order to prevent the people was following her or hearing her passionate cries for democracy. She has been given no trial or criminal charge, yet they can keep her under house arrest just for speaking against the leader. I give Obama applause for finally growing a backbone & taking a momentary stand demanding her release. In a time when all I see is negative associated with him, it is really nice to see something positive. Write it down cause it won't happen often, I believe.

If this link works...This was on the o'reilly factor.

Go liberals! Make a mockery of 9/11. I'm sure Nancy, Holder and Obama are glowing with self-centered pride for this worm.

That youtube reference is PRICELESS, Beau................and probably not too far from the truth!

-- Posted by bazookaman on Tue, Nov 24, 2009, at 6:33 AM

Bazooka, it does not sound strange to me at all. I wake up many days and think "this cannot get any worse" and then it does.

They say jobs are on the rise? Where? It is probably just people who have fallen off the radar because they have run out of unemployment. There are also a lot of people who never file a claim for one reason or another. Look at the Sunday paper (job section) and then tell me how much better things are.

Top Dem says healtcare plan failure NOT an option. So they jam it down our throats one more time!!!

Might sound a little strange to ya, Missy, but with every passing attrocity being forced upon the citizens, I'm getting a little angrier...........YET a little more excited at the same time.

The campfires I've been sitting in on have been most interesting. You Dems better enjoy this unconstitutional fairytale while you can. The winds of liberty are going to be changing.

And they aren't gonna be "politically correct" either.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Sun, Nov 22, 2009, at 8:09 AM

Not quite, Missy..........

Hitler was PROUD of HIS country

Hitler apologized to NOBODY

Hitler kicked the communists OUT out HIS country

.........and he even got the Olympics to come to HIS country

Hitler was NOT perceived as weak and undecisive

Hitler was MAD. yet still more efficient than this screwball WE'RE stuck with at the time.

And when THEIR flag passed in review, Hitler didn't look down or away with his hands in his crotch while everyone around him paid respect

A lot of Obama's moves have been VERY "Third Reich-ish", and I myself have compared Obama with Hitler........but the more I think about it....I wouldn't put the Kenyan on the same level.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Sun, Nov 22, 2009, at 7:15 AM

Just because a doctor says you need something does not mean you will get it. The insurance industry likes to put things in nice little boxes and generalize people. If the guidelines state that tests are not needed before a certain age, they will not be done no matter what a doctor says. Sure you can appeal. However, that takes time and when you are sick sometimes time is not something that you have a lot of. Early detection in cancer and other diseases is key.

Obama is no different than Hitler. The American people have become his lab rats. It all makes me want to puke.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Sat, Nov 21, 2009, at 9:53 PM

Could it be that the more lax they get everybody to be, the less money it costs THEM, no matter WHAT happens to the patients?

And if, as a result, cancer gets caught too late, they can just "write them off" and put more emphasis on the more "productive" subjects.

I'm tellin' ya'all.....THIS Democrat party is no longer the "party for the people." They want you to keep believing that, though.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, at 4:41 PM

I think how this mammogram thing is going to work The AMA will not recommend a mammogram for women or men under the age of 50 therefore your Doctor is not going to tell you to get one and won't write out the paper work for one, nor will your insurance company pay for it UNLESS the Doctor recommends you get it done, because Cancer runs in your family or you found a lump. What I don't understand is now they are saying self exams shouldn't have to be done.

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, at 3:53 PM

Yes Bazooka. Change you can believe in once again. I cannot wait for more proof of change come tax time. People will be in for one heck of a shock when that stimulus money costs them thousands. Hope the $600.00 was worth it.

So the left side of Congress is now a team of certified gynocologists too, eh?

-- Posted by bazookaman on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, at 2:26 PM

AHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA! New pap test guidlines for women announced today. Obama genocide 2 times in 7 days.

MsM, it was not cancer but it is a condition that needs to be watched and checked regularly (cells are checked). Mammograms are a yearly thing with ultrasounds as well and lots of blood work. Under the current "guidelines"...who knows.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, at 7:15 AM

Absolutely Kim. This is OUR country now, not our great grandparents'.

If any of THEM crawled into bed with Uncle Sam for WHATEVER reason, it's not OUR responsibility to continue "servicing" him.

I was born in 1948. I do NOT owe any black person for slavery, nor any Japanese for the A-bomb.

I am NOT under ANY obligation to vote one party or the other, just because "Uncle Jed" always did.

I do NOT accept that old............"well, that's just the way it is, and you can't fight City Hall..........."

BULL----! There are over 300 MILLION of us, and just 435 of THEM. Do the math.

The government can't take over ANYTHING without screwing it up, and creating MORE government. How do you polish a Senate seat with your butt for 40 years and tell an honest hard working farmer WHAT to plant and WHEN?

Is Harry Reid some kind of licensed brain surgeon all of a sudden? Is Princess Pelosi the new Head of Oncology? Are they all medical technicians now, and "know' what's best for the rest of us?

What outfit did Eric Holder fight in, that makes him some sort of expert on how to treat rabid enemies?

What battlefield did Obama get HIS "sense of urgency" on?

Byrd just celebrated his 90th birthday...........and he's celebrated over SIXTY of them in the government.............how does THAT still put him in touch to know the needs of the common citizen?

FOLKS................we elect these knuckleheads to REPRESENT us............NOT REGULATE us!

..............am I going too fast for anybody out there? Raise you hands if I get ahead of you............

THEY WORK FOR US

THEY WORK FOR US

They are NOT our "mommy and daddy."..............Is there anyone out there who doesn't understand that? If you don't, you have NO BUSINESS in a voting booth.

If you DO understand that.........and STILL vote for government control, you need to pack up and go live in Russia, Cuba or one of the many OTHER countries that would LOVE your presence.

You don't belong here.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, at 7:14 AM

OM & Ms Marylin: this mammogram situation is disturbing. I do find it very difficult to understand how it is not related to healthcare reform and rationing costs.

Censored: While I agree that the farmers did invite government to have more power. Again, during desperate times, people will make bad decisions. The Farm Act started the Big Government issue. Farmers were desperate to provide for their families so they took the governments plan and what happened? Many lost the abiility to govern their own land and lives. Many were paid by the gov't to not plant. Others are told how much and what to plant. However, the bad decisions made back then doesn't mean that people are supposed to just shut up and not protest. Would that also mean that the children of those who made mistakes in the past don't have the right to protest the possible mistakes of the present? All farmers have no right to complain? The only person who has no right to complain about laws and gov't policies are those who don't vote. If you vote for something or someone who later turns out to not be the person you thought or that something turns out not to be the thing you wanted, you have no right to disaggree? If your grandfather signed away his rights to his farm, are you not allowed to cry out for change? If that was the case, based on the enormous mistakes in our history, none of us have the right to say a thing and therefore slavery to the past would be our future.

Om

First let me say I am glad your cancer was caught in time. It must of been a very frightening experience to go through.

Are you saying if you find a lump now with this new change you can't go for a biopsy? I have never had a mammogram and my Dr has been after me for years. lol ! and I am in my 60's. Some say I am not being to smart, however I have never discovered a lump or had enlarged lymph nodes nor is cancer in my family. Don't get me wrong I do go to the Dr and am being treated for other health problems... If I felt I need a mammogram I would certainly demand to get one.

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 1:59 PM

MsM, while you may still be able to obtain the care, the standards of/for care have now changed. They claim it is because of too many false positives and doing a biopsy on a person that was not needed. I am pretty sure that those costs are far lower than the costs for stage 4 breast cancer. They have just taken away the early detection in this disease.

When I had my first lump, I was told that it was nothing because I was "too young." It was at that point that I took my care (key word being MY) into my own hands. For several months prior I had enlarged lymph nodes under one arm (same arm as the breast that had the lump). When the doctor checked that, he ordered a punch biopsy of each breast (which did not "disfigure" me). Breast cancer knows no age and can "get" a man the same as a woman. This AMA revelation is a step back for everyone at risk. Genocide at its best and on American soil. I wonder what "new" funding the AMA was given for this act.

Obama's prescribed population control.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 1:25 PM

The point of my previous post was to show that its not all liberals. Conservative, salt-of-the-earth, simple lifestyle, farmers and ranchers brought the federal govt. into the equation. The people that are so revered for being so independent and so craving of individuality were the prime offenders in giving the Federal Govt. license to intervene. Big business may have been undercutting them. That aside, the truth is that the same people who cry about it today are the ones who let the cat out of the bag in the 1880's.

-- Posted by twilcox1978 on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 11:10 AM

For the people who do self examine and find a lump or there is cancer is your family they still want you to get a mammogram and you don't have to be 50 to get one. You can be 20. They are not saying that regardless if cancer runs in your family or you have found a lump you can't get a mammogram.

-- Posted by MsMarylin on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 9:31 AM

And the Obama healthcare genocide begins! In record time and just in time for the holidays.

On November 5, 2009, the AMA and AARP endorce Obama's healthcare bill.

Then...on or about November 17, 2009 the AMA announces that self-breast exams are a waste of time and that mammograms are not needed before the age of 50 (following is an article).

http://www.amatechtel.com/news/wed/al/Ay...

And the AMA endorces Obama story:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/11/05/h...

Stats from CDC:

http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/breast/statist...

Early detection is key. I found my first lump at 30 and had my first nodes removed at 30. 2 years ago, a second lump was found and again through self-exam. I would have rather gone through the above than not and been disfigured when things were not caught early. My lump was found through a self-exam and I do not think they are a waste of time. I understand that most breast cancer is found at older ages, however, young women also get breast cancer and it is being found in women younger and younger. My grandma had breast cancer at age 40. Early detection saved her life 35 years ago. Sorry, I do not buy this BS. It is all about the money as opposed to protecting and preservation of life. My what a world Obama is working to create for us! So, now the question is if the Government will test for the breast cancer gene or just allow us all to take a chance. Next----no colon exams until age 60 or 70 and pap tests every 5 years startine at 20 up to age 70 (after 70 you have been there/done that so why bother).

Change I refuse to believe in. What a disaster and all in the name of money!!!!

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 8:28 AM

When we had "issues" on the flightline, we fixed them "in-house"....................we didn't get the Wing Commander involved!

The LESS this government has to do with ANYTHING, the better off we ALL are.

I didn't invite these thieves into our towns and into our lives. YOU guys did...............but it'll be up to US to get rid of them.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 8:19 AM

History has a way of illuminating things. Back in the late 1800's when every Joe Farmer was crying the blues saying that they were being taken to the woodshed by big business. They then went to the govt. to fix policy to their liking. After a bunch of endless squabbling where no one could get anything done (for better or for worse). From that debate, came price supports, increased bureaucracy, and taxes as a whole began to rise. The U.S. had one of the lowest rates of taxation prior to 1880 but everybody had to enlist the govt. to help their cause and what do you get? There are no secret laws written, no Illuminati. Just citizens enlisting the services of the Federal govt. and giving them leverage.

when society has issues, who do they look to? They look for govt. to fix it all. I have to question that ethic because then we all complain when Big Brother is too involved.

-- Posted by twilcox1978 on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 5:14 PM

Mike, I find it pretty sad, that we as a "Nation" find taxation without causation to be so okay. We pay for many things in Government that are not needed. We pay to "fix" things that are not broken. Our healthcare system is in the state it is in because of all the "donations" our crew in DC get yearly from the insurance industry. Healtcare "reform" will never work until the problem (i.e. the insurance industry) are fixed. Our welfare system was created as TEMPORARY help to people in need. It was NEVER created to support generation after generation of people who do not want to work. It was also not created to REWARD people for breeding and not using birth control but that is what it has turned into. My point? Fix the problem. Nothing will ever change through the creation of more Government programs. The Obama admin. is the perfect example of this. How can you make people pay their taxes when 1/2 of the people who work for you have not done so and now they work for the POTUS? Pretty funny stuff. I wonder how many are also on SSI while they collect their huge pay? Will Nancy and the POTUS be under this healthcare plan or do they stay on their current plan? If it is good enough for us-----it SHOULD be good enough for them, IMHO.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 4:21 PM

No Missy..........it was the slight majority of the AMERICAN PEOPLE was missed the memo that we needed a leader. The RNC didn't read it either, during the primaries.

Update............all this recovery stimulous data put out by the White House was just found out to be false, where job creation is concerned.

Apparently, there have been thousands of jobs created in congressional districts that don't even exist! No WONDER the "annointed one" is overseas!

Not a problem..............Gibbs will come up with something!

-- Posted by bazookaman on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 4:05 PM

Wow AFWife...you are normally so "PC" and nice. Great post and right to the point. I could not have said it better myself. Well stated/documented.

Bazooka, by the time 52% of this "PC" nation wakes up...it will be too late. The fact that so many fell for smooth talk and a nice suit says it all (and let us not forget how Michelle dresses and where she purchases her clothes, etc). We have walked the plank and are in shark infested waters just waiting to be eaten.

These are dark days in the future. History will indeed repeat itself and it started with our record debt of the last several months and record unemployment. Let us not forget the pending healthcare circus...

Yet, Obama feels the need to jet all over the world. I guess he missed the memo that the US is really messed up and could use a leader. Work on relationships when unemployment is down and people again have a place to live. Charity begins at home---NOT in China.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 3:42 PM

Whoa dudes............I was NEVER one of the Bush supporters, and you'd have to be part of the GOP to know that "conservatives" and "republicans' are NOT in the same club, as John McCain found out until he brought Palin on board.

Wasn't quite enough to overturn the 52% of the "mezmorized".....and you guys will have 12 million MORE "grateful new democrats" when this administration LEGALIZES them next year as they plan to.................Wilson was RIGHT when he yelled at Obama about the "lie."

However, I think we're gonna see some awakened people on BOTH sides next year, PLUS the Independents.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 3:15 PM

Kim, I have to say I wish Obama would demand the release of the American hikers who mistakenly crossed into Iran.

I have to say I am a veteran and my husband is still Active duty. That being said, I fought this war along with a lot of others. I DO NOT agree with Obama nor like him as a president but that doesn't change the fact I will fight for this country. I will again if I have to, but I can believe that I am fighting to keep us free.

I Do not agree with the fact that Obama is all over the place instead of being here to take care of American matters. I will til the day I die. Believe he is no good and is out to distroy America. ANd seriously what was the reason for him to get a Peace Prize.

Bottom line, any man (PResident) who apologizes to our enemy is WRONG. Dick Cheney said it best:

"What I find disturbing is the extent to which he has gone to Europe, for example, and seemed to apologize profusely in Europe, and then to Mexico, and apologize there, and so forth," Cheney told Hannity.

"And I think you have to be very careful. The world outside there, both our friends and our foes, will be quick to take advantage of a situation if they think they're dealing with a weak president or one who is not going to stand up and aggressively defend America's interests."

"The United States provides most of the leadership in the world... I don't think we have much to apologize for."

-- Posted by airforcewive on Tue, Nov 17, 2009, at 11:50 AM

Diplomacy has and always will have its place in politics. No one man, group, or country can do it alone. I am not sure if the amount that Obama is displaying is necessary. Not everyone can be a friend or ally. Bush did hurt our relations with others. How much that really matters is a matter for debate. What I shake my head at is that some think of Obama as this oppressive, iron-fisted, totalitarian crook. Well, history has plenty of examples (some of them American, too) and he bears no similarity. I would say that he has lofty goals but no past experience to guide him on how to make it happen. His economic advisers act like they are playing a game of craps. Taking a lot of chances knowing that failure could have a lasting impact.

Bazooka:

Well maybe you and your rightist should have been protesting with us non-Democrat leftist, during the Bush years, instead of keeping your yaps shut while them Conservatives were dismantling the nation. Then things may have not gotten so out of control? But you guys just went on praising them, the bushes, "because they were keeping America safe".?

But I shouldn't be so hard on the rightist, I hear they weren't politically aware until recently?

Get off the Koolaid Rollman, have a Pepsi or something with a little caffeine in it, so you'll wake up before you get run over by the bus your "messiah" is throwing you under.

Incidently, dude, my NON-support of the idiot George Bush is a matter of public record.

And YOU've got no room to hack at "W" about his "christianity" when YOUR boy is a MUSLIM, a SOCIALIST with known COMMUNISTS working for him, and I still think it's gonna be proven that he is NOT an American-born citizen.

The guy has no respect for anything but himself. He has disrespected our flag, bows and apologizes to other countries, has piled debt upon us that is SEVERAL times of that he "inherited", appoints czars who are accountable to NOBODY, appoints RACISTS to the Supreme Court, and sits on his ass or conveniently LEAVES the country because your "commander-in-thief" can't make a decision while our troops are being killed.

Yeah.............he's wonderful, and we're all just in awe and amazement that you liberals had the foresight to put this clown into the center ring.

Barack, Harry and Nancy.................the "21st century 3 stooges!"

Even the GAYS are smart enough to realize THEY were "courted" just to get their vote. They're mad at him now, too!

And 2 days ago, Martin Luther King's own NIECE spoke out against Obama on Mike Huckabee's show, making it clear that THIS was NOT the "change" her uncle worked, fought and died for. Too bad she's black, or you libs could call HER a "racist" too!

MLK's own family............pretty sad, ain't it!

"The only reason America elected W. is because they identified with him, specifically because he was/is as stupid as they are. "

So does this explain the 52% that elected Obama as well?

-- Posted by mhbouncer on Mon, Nov 16, 2009, at 11:53 PM

Bazook--

So short-sighted you are. Most of the world thinks we came to our senses when we elected Pres. Obama. I imagine one of the overarching goals of all this travel is to generate good-will with other nations, a fundamental ideological shift from the previous president. If he is anything like me, he sees there is a great deal of repair work that must be done because of the almost incomprehensible arrogance of W.

You speak so negatively of your fellow Americans, but let's play 'two wrongs make a right'. The only reason America elected W. is because they identified with him, specifically because he was/is as stupid as they are. You talk about Obama selling a lie to the electorate: What about good 'ole W. pulling the wool over our eyes with his absolutely pretend and fictitious Christianity? No true Christian would do the things he did while running or serving.

I too wonder how you have the endurance to hate so much for so long. "Life is too long to hate"--Todd Snider.

Kim5594: Welcome to a new person. Glad to see you. I didn't understand your hositility towards what I wrote, though. I was proud of what Obama said. Didn't you get that? I was applauding him and saying something positive. Regardless, thanks for sharing. Hope to see more of you.

Censored: I'm so happy that my theories have been put on the back burner. That is the best news today. Since I have been reading about it, I already knew that but nice to see you are happy too. And I would never dream to compare myself to that great lady. I am not perscuted. I am nothing compared to her or to most people for that matter. But thanks for pointing that out. I thought that I was passing on the greatness of another person and not making comparisions. My life is milk and honey compared to most people in those communist countries. Reading about her sure reminds you of the blessings that we have.

I hope your not trying to compare your cause with

Suu Kyi's. Her persecution is real, while yours is created and generated by Fox news.

--------------------------------------------------

Bazooka:

A Communist wouldn't have bailed-out the corporations and banks. And they would not have created the so-called health reform B.S. that will put more money into the pockets of insurance CEOs then help the poor. Communists don't work like that. Capitalist do. I thought you guys said he was a socialist anyway. Are you guys going to accuse him of being a tribal leader next?

--------------------------------------------------

p.s. I guess the whole "signing our sovereignty over to the UN" is getting put on the back burner, right? Your theories are in a state of continual failure.

Kim5594................

That ISN'T what he was elected to do. If he want's to help everyone else, let him join the Peace Corps.

I want to hear somebody out there tell us all what he's done for US so far.................(we already know what he's done TO us!)

Wow. I am so proud that I served in the military to allow ignorant people to express their views. Maybe if you check your spelling and punctuation, you would seem credible Kim. Fortunately for all of you we live in a country where you are free to express your views against the President. He is defending a woman who expressed her views and trying to change a wrong, and all you can do is complain about him defending someones right to express their view. Wow, good thing you live here huh?

Knowing Gibbs, the message was probably nowhere NEAR what Obama said. When he gets done joy-riding all over the planet, maybe he'll come back, order a 50% hike on tennis shoes or something, PAY the Burmese to release her, then hope he gets nominated for another Nobel..........

What's he doing in Singapore anyway? This guy has spent more time travelling in his first year, than MOST presidents do in their entire first terms.

I guess we don't have anything pressing here at home that might require his attention.

If he had any REAL "spine", he'd give his GENERAL the friggin' help he's been ASKED for these past few months. MOST politicians who have never served, have no sense of what URGENCY means.

Hey.....I don't care WHAT little good he might be doing for some OTHER country...........this "Pied Piper" spellbound 52% of this country into giving him the job, and he promised to fix wht was wrong. He had this great gameplan of "change" and the multitudes flocked around him both starry-eyed and teary-eyed, rolled around on the ground and wept in wild reverance as their "messiah had come."

And WHAT pray-tell, has this goofball done? (besides awakening and re-organizing the REPUBLICAN Party and the Independents).

Kim...........please don't get me wrong, I think it's good that someone stands up for that woman over there, but I want to see Obama do something positive HERE. I want to see that same enthusiam HERE. Let him travel to the Northwest.............not the Middle East.

Let him concentrate on the poor folks HERE, not in Europe.

Let him provide some hope and inspiration to OUR troops-----not the enemy's, through his in-action and inabilities to make decisions.

Some of my friends say "Why get all worked up, Mike.............Obama's a ONE TERM president! He's ticked off some many people now, including a bunch of them who ELECTED him, he'll never get RE-elected..............chill out, Bazooka............!"

"Chill out YOURSELVES dudes," I reply........."If you'll peep at your calendars, you'll find we've still got another THREE YEARS of this communist and his newly created KGB." Look at the damage they've done in just the first year alone! You guys think this is gonna somehow get BETTER?

You think you're gonna walk along a beach somewhere and stumble over a magic lamp and a genie's gonna pop up and grant you your three wishes?"

This country is being fleeced and sold out.

LEFT UNCHECKED, they're going to continue to do what they want............what would be their incentive to stop?

I will applaud Obama when I see him lose his Congress next year......and AGAIN.............when I see him pack his family up and go back to the "windy city" where he belongs!

I've lived in Mtn Home for over 20 years. I love my city and my country. Since I am a writer, my decision to blog here seemed appropriate. I enjoy acting so I've been blessed with the opportunity to work on some independent films and with Prairie Dog Productions and Bogus Creek Ranch. I hope that something I have to write about has some value for others or just amuses someone.
