Never mind, this section is just silly especially the government take over of schools. That happened in like the 1920's.

I guess you would rather have religious schools that only teach god's math, creationism, and flower art.

Is there more parania in the air then normal since the tempature dropped?

  • Silly? You act like I just made that stuff up. Silly? Those are the 10 planks of Communist takeover as written. And for the record, I am not all for schools teaching creationism and flowers, although botany is a good study. I am for the basic reading, math, history, literature without skewing it with socilistic bs and removing things from history that would be politically incorrect. I am not for public schools teaching about alternative lifestyles, sex education that is about sexualality instead of biology, watching horror films instead of classics, and teaching history with kid gloves because we don't want to upset anyone with the truth. I am thankful that my kids are growing up here because the schools here are not so political and they do tend to focus on real education. I believe that most of the teachers here are good and have a love of education. However, the government is getting way to much cotrol over it and filtering in their liberal teachings. You want to call it silly to read and talk about real history? Fine by me. I just pass on what I read. I don't make it up. It is what it is. (time: 6:46am)

    Kim:

That's some funny stuff. Not to get on your age but It hasn't been too long ago that I was in school and there was no lefty teaching going on. Your sites or media guides have mislead you again.

I hear ya. But I do have family that lived the other side of that era that wasn't Garden of Eden like. Farmers and industrial workers, and have heard the good and bad. So I put no faith in nostalgia.

The music of that time and the early part of the century are worth putting through nostalgia vision.
