I am so angry! I am so sadden by the horrible death of that little girl who was snatched walking home from school and granted, anger can make you say stupid things, but Geraldo was a jerk this morning on Fox News. He blamed the mother for letting her child walk home. He blamed the mother for having a child and not providing 24 hour surveillance to prevent this from happening. It made me sick to hear it. This mother lived within a mile and therefore had no bus service. The children walked in groups. Unfortunately, that day the girl got upset at one of the kids and took off ahead. They lost sight of her for a moment and that was all it took. Now we have a mother who probably is heaping tons of blame on herself as well as a group of kids who are dealing with the same. This would be hard enough without the finger-pointing idiots like Geraldo. This is hard enough for an adult to ever manage to come to terms with. I know that those kids will suffer tremendous guilt and will need compassionate help. Geraldo's attack was horrible and if I were that mother and heard what he said, in the fragile state that she must be in, then I may fall so deep into guilt and depression that harm would be considered to myself. I pray that the mother didn't hear it and I pray that someone strong will guide her through her grief. Blaming her for the death is misguided and heartless! Fox News will hear how I feel about that idiot as well. Apologize and show compassion, Geraldo! That mother and those kids have enough guilt to bear without you. (Time: 6:45am)

Geraldo really said that? WTF!? The money he's making is rotting his brain!
I saw this too Kim...I AM NOT a fan of Fox News at ALL, but did see it on another channel this morning as I was getting ready for work. I too am a single mother of two school aged children and while I am able to tkae them to school everyday, I cannot always drive them home. Its absolutely disgusting what he said. I cannot even fathom what this mother is going through and you could see how devastated she was at the news conference before the little girls body was discovered....Its a terrible tradgedy and hopefully this idiot Gerlado will apologize to her.
Geraldo IS proof that FOX gives issue to both sides, though. Geraldo is a liberal. Always HAS been, and it offends ME that FOX would give him his own show on "my network." (I always turn the set OFF when he comes on).
CNN would never give an hour spot to Rush!

Geraldo is,has been since his Capone tunnel,and probably always will be an IDIOT.This is the guy who tried to give away troop positions in Iraq,then cried about being told he was no longer welcome with the troops.
I'm a Fox News devotee; and I think I understand why Geraldo gets his opinion aired on that station. Sometimes, you have to get a good look at the competition in order to determine what makes them so attractive to others...kind of like guys who scan the pages of Cosmo and Playgirl. They need to get a good look at what they're up against.
All kidding aside, "blaming the victim" is the default position for libtards and ("mikey made me do it") 6-year-olds. Geraldo can't help it...he has an incurable disease (self-righteousness) and lacks the courage to kill himself.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who got heated over what he said. I'm still mad! Every parent can look back and see countless times that this horrible thing could have occurred or some other tragedy while one of our kids got out of our sight. I'm amazed that kids make it thru childhood sometimes. And I'm angry that Geraldo compared things to a prized poodle. Basically saying that "You wouldn't let your prized poodle go wandering away from home yet you allow your precious child to walk home from school." Then went on to say that people shouldn't have kids if they aren't willing to watch over them. He is worse than an idiot.
I think the FOX network NEEDS TO BE the "one-sided news source" that some people think they are, and get RID of Rivera.
They only keep that dirtbag around so they can say............."see folks, WE give time to the other side."
I think they do enough of that as it is, having leftwing guests on Sean's panels, O'Reilly will talk with ANYBODY, and so will Greta.
That don't need to give Geraldo his own damned show. He belongs on the "View" with Whoppi and friends.
geraldo is so far out of line,he will never get back in.he,s always been this way.he should be held responsible for his comments, like (fired).this is a terrible time in our history,when our children are murdered in school,on the street, just about anywhere anymore.seems like people like geraldo love to pile misery on top of misery. hope he doesn,t sleep well.
