A Peaceful Shameless Plug

I am taking a breather from unrealistic and over exaggerations to make a peaceful shameless plug for the other life I lead as a theatrical drama queen. Today, I will be working on a film in a scene as an extra. It's a comedy and the scene is a red-neck wedding. This should be a blast and a temporary escape from life for a few hours. But that's not the shameless plug. Plug: This summer, I am blessed to be involved with the Glenns Ferry Opera House's production of "Blazing Guns At Roaring Gulch" Thank you Connie for including me. I will be sharing the role of the villianess, Widow Black. I get to be evil and down-right mean to everyone on the stage every other Saturday night. There will be children singing, gun-fights and great silly comedy safe for the whole family. Opening night is June 13. I will be playing the Widow Black for my first performance on June 20. There is a large cast and crew of talented down-home people who just want to give the world a laugh or two. Plug #2: There will also be another performance on Friday nights as well. (I am not in that cast) It promises to be just as funny and enjoyable. So if you enjoy a good melodrama and a great belly-laugh, come join us. And if you do happen to be there on the nights that I perform, please take a moment to shake my hand and introduce yourself. I will soak up the praise like Spongebob and giggle with delight. Go to the website: http://www.glennsferrytheatre.org/ Allow yourself to enjoy the small town dramas in a peaceful environment of laughter. Come support your county comedians! Hope to see you there! I've lived in Mtn Home for over 20 years. I love my city and my country. Since I am a writer, my decision to blog here seemed appropriate. I enjoy acting so I've been blessed with the opportunity to work on some independent films and with Prairie Dog Productions and Bogus Creek Ranch. I hope that something I have to write about has some value for others or just amuses someone.

Good luck Kim! You will be great. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Does Ken know about this alter ego of Widow Black?? Should he be concerned??...lol
Good Luck it sounds like alot of fun
"Blazing GUNS" at Roaring Gulch? Kim.......you're not one of those right wing extremists, are you?
Yes, I claim the title RWE. And yes, Ken should be very concerned! Sometimes playing an evil villianess can sink in and removing the horrible manipulating-I-want-to-rule-the-world feeling is quite difficult. Then again, maybe I can play this part because the character is inside me all along. Oh, and yes I will be holding a wonderful six shooter in my mean little hands just itching to shoot someone. Care to audition? (insert evil laugh here)
Way to go, girl! Let's not disappoint the kool-aid drinkers.
Nice running into you at Wally World yesterday, glad I finally got to meet you. Dropped off the film yesterday, probably take a week to get them back, since they don't have 1-hour processing anymore, unless you have a digital camera. If you're still shooting with real film, it has to be sent out.
Talk to ya later
Thanks for the support and good encouragement. I will break a leg for everyone. Knock on wood!
I have seen first hand her alter ego, and since this isnt an adult site, I can't comment on the effects that it has on me. Mostly scared, since I am one of the evil gun owners, and she knows where they are. I do however, recommend that if you do have some free time and enjoy going to the theater, go see the show. I've seen this lady in action, she's marvelous. I know, you all think I'm posting a biased opinion, and you're right, I am. This to Mr. Bazookaman, I would like to have the chance to meet you since I'm thinking we share many of the same views.
