Fruit SaladPosted Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 3:39 PM
There is no limit on what fruit you add, thats your choice, this just a good starting point. I got this from a friend a few years ago and hadn't had it for years.
2-Bananas 2 to 3-Red apples 1-15 ounce can mandarin oranges 1-15 ounce can or larger fruit cocktail 1-16 ounce pineapple tidbits 1-Cup coconut 1-Large container cool whip 2-Cups strawberries 2-Cups small marshmallows Be sure all the fruit you use is well drained. Peel and slice the bananas Core and chop the apples (Be sure to treat with lemon juice to keep them from discoloring) Dice the oranges Clean and quarter the strawberries. (no reason you can't use frozen, thawed and drained well) Put all the fruit in a large container with a Lid Mix all the fruit together and add the cool whip and mix in I like to add some chopped walnuts also. Like I said add any fruit you like, ie rasberries, black berries, seedless grapes cut in half, raisins, peaches and so on the list can just go on. Keep in the Fridge until ready to serve.
