Banana Spice Cake

Cody 6 months old
2-Large eggs

2/3-Cup shortening

1-Tsp salt

2-Tsp vanilla

1 1/3-Cup sugar

1 2/3-Cup mashed bananas ( 4 Large )

2-Tsp baking powder

1-Tsp baking soda

1/4-Tsp cloves

1 1/2-Tsp cinnamon

3/4-Tsp nutmeg

2 3/4-Cups flour

Combine shortening, salt and vanilla

Then cream with sugar.

Add eggs one at a time and beating well

Add banana pulp and blend well

Add dry ingredients to the first mixture and beat until well blended

Grease 9 x 13 baking dish and add cake batter

Bake 350 degrees for 35 or 45 minutes or toothpick comes out clean.

Your choice on the frosting/icing you want to top the cooled cake with
