The End is near, only 3 episodes left

6 seasons ago the World or at least this nation was introduced to a crooked cop that cleaned up a part of Los Angeles but put away some of the recovered money to make him and his Strike team rich.

Of course I'm talking of the hit TV series the Shield.

The Shield pretty much rescued a TV network that was drowning and brought it out of some really bad cash issues.

For once a basic cable network took a chance on presenting some great writing, with a even better cast that made us look at our own public officials in a whole new way.

I can't say what the ending episode is going to be like because even I do not know, but I hope the Shield does not end like the Sopranos with just a cut away to a blank screen.

From what I understand and I could be wrong, but the time slot will now be filled by two revolving series, Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck.

However for us action drama fans, the adventure will continue with Sons of Anarchy.
