Mountain Home does not really care about Glenns Ferry or King Hill, and if many in Mnt Home would not care if the town of Glenns Ferry were to be farmed out back to Gooding County as it was many eons and years ago most would not care. I for one would be the first to agree. Glenns Ferry is a sweet town, one that I happily call home. Sure I have bad mouthed some here in our tiny town but over all this small town is a place I now proudly call my home and will protect it as best as I can. That said the entire adventure of being in Mountain Home for a week, has opened my eyes to the fact that while perhaps and Maybe baby and don't push the Maybe creating a business in Mountain Home might be a good thing I dang well would not want to ever live there, more over never buy a house there. Mountain Home could not pay me to live there. So I wonder could a movement be started to moving the county line a bit north and west say to Hammett and letting Glenns Ferry and King Hill become part of Gooding County again? Don't know but I am going to look into it. While I'll not ever even say anything bad against our current Sheriff or current sheriffs office, the ignorance , arrogance and just plain turning their backs on Glenns Ferry by some County commissioners of Elmore County makes me wonder could Glenns Ferry fend better belonging to Gooding County? At least Glenns Ferry is warmer in many ways than Mountain Home, on a lot of issues, and I need to take my hat off to those who make it that way. Sure there are problems in city government in Glenns Ferry, just as there is anywhere. Likewise I never asked for, or expected that I would be welcomed here with a parade, marching band or the throwing down of a red carpet. Nor did I expect Gabriels trumpet to sound just because I showed up. I moved here because even though I disagree with many things even to the point many bit the paws that might have fed them, still over all, I would not trade my extremely nice home , peace and quiet of Glenns Ferry for anywhere else incuding Mountain Home. So to those in Glenns Ferry that I might have upset or insulted I ask your forgiveness, as for Mountain Home and some there, here is the big middle finger salute. I think you are worng. If I based my opinion of the population of Glenns Ferry based on your ramblings, then it is a place I would not want to visit. But since I do not judge the whole group based on a few, I will visit Glenns Ferry in spite of you. And I am not hammering you, though you may think so, I am just stating my opinions as you do. The big difference is I know they are my thoughts and not gospel as you seem to think. I think you are out of touch with reality and need some help to join the rest of the population. I know I said I would not comment any more but when you make such ridiculious comments as this one and your other blog, then I have to speak my mind. To be silent would be like not voting in any election.

I can't believe I just responded to one of your posts,,,you're so delusional its pathetic.
i live in glennsferry and have seen some goods and badd like on election day my sister in law got a 10 dollar tiket. becuase she was faced opposite way after getting a flat outside my house. hmm up the street theres a trailer been there months faced opposite way, no ones given him a tiket and i see cars all the time. i guess what im saying just becuase im across from city hall, if your going enforce something, enforce on everyone not just one pearson. i own my home and is a tax payer lets be fare not pick on some people not others.im a retired veteran and will not tolerate discrimination. so back too glennsferry i love the peace and quiet, but do not like the attitude of some people. who seem too hate outsider becuase hes from cali or arizona lets not forget glennsferrians that there use too be a proud people named the shoshonees also felt same way. they lost their land illegally.remember we are all outsiders from somewhere else looking for peace of mind.
One would have thought that maybe, just maybe you might changed your attitude some about lumping people into the same pot but that seems not to be the case. While there maybe some here in Mt Home that are not too concerned with Glenns Ferry, there are just as many that are. I have not said anything bad about the town you live in and would hope that you would respect our town and do the same. In fact, when I first started reading your blogs, you bashed Glenns Ferry on a daily basis and now you seem to love it. It is nice that you have passion for something but it is a shame that express it in such a manner.
And before you say it, I will say it for you... if I don't like what you write then don't read it. Well you can bet your hazard county butt that I am not. Your rants and goings on border on the extreme and in my opinion you need some help with whatever issues are tearing you apart.
