If you got it a truck brought it

Last night(Friday Night) on our way home from albeit a short but good night out one of those I was hauling with said dang trucker.

I begged to differ and say what would your life be without truckers?

Sure there are railroads and of course air but niether plane nor train is going to land at your food store or where you buy fuel.

Some times you just have to wonder at these dang 4-wheelers.

Granted there are times that otr drivers do goof up, and there are idiots behind the wheel of 18 wheels just as there are 4-wheelers, but those are few and far between. The American long haul independent truckers deserves your respect. As in many ways the American Trucker is the true backbone of this nation and a good indicator of economic progress. More trucks on the road means the economy is thriving, goods are moving an factories are producing. When there are fewer trucks on the road that means the economy is in the crapper.

There are people drivng that you just have to ask , does this person have a brain that goes off when the ignition key is turned on?

Going down that big road with cell phone in hand just yapping away, is an attention deficit. OTR drivers can get hammered for nearly $300.00 plus if caught using a cell phone while the rig is moving, and yet these blooming 4-wheelers are just ratchet jawing away. Okay then the Miss Hazzard Contest.

Back in the day when the grand Firebird Raceway just outside of Boise was thee track, and all, the management of said track both father and son two good friends of mine along with English Leather foo-foo did a gig at Shorty's in Garden City as a promotion for the annual FoX Hunt as it was called as women got in free with an accompanying paying Guy, boyfriend etc.

It was he English Leather Calendar. With a cash purse and a spot on the calendar.

Since the last one of those took place it has been the goal, of our specialty ride group to produce and host something similar but a heap more Kountry.

Outside of Shorty's we have never ever found one other bar or such venue to host the project.

Could happen.
