Should someone over weight be discharged from a job?

Saw this thing this morning the Birthday of the Hazzard Knytes, (10-31-1981). On the Early Show there was this gal who worked as a bar person back east somewhere who gained 5 pounds and got put back in the kitchen. So the question becomes of course if its a female employee that is hired on what obviously is a eye candy job to begin with, if she gets to smuguggly to be in front of the public and she is let go, or fired even demoted could she have grounds for a law suit?

This I think is a moot point at best. But if the gal was hired as say, a fashion or other type of model, ad she got to looking like the back end of a cattle trailer or got a 6 as big as that of the rear of a fuel tanker should she be fired? I say yes.

In both counts you have someone who is hired for her looks, if the looks go sour then despite ability she is no longer able to carry on the duties of her job.

Big doings tonight at the Oregon Trail/Derail here in Glenns Ferry.
