Sarah Palin

Watching the VP debate Thursday night I am of the opinion that she makes more sense than her ah running mate McCain as well as Biden or Obama . The fear is, that if Heaven forbid that Obama wins the election if something happened to him while in office I'd be really spooked if Biden became President. If although I hope it does not happen but if something happened to McCain, then Sarah would become President, which in my opinion should happen, flip the election, put Sarah in as President and McCain as VP. Remember too folks Sarah wet to college in Idaho at the University of Idaho. Cain't be all bad. Plus at least we'd have someone in there easier on the eyes during a Presiential address. After all I'd rather look at Sarah Palin rather than any of the other men involved. Wouldn't you. My other fear, and I want ya'll to know I hope it don't, but I fear some goof ball is going to put a slug in McCain just to see Palin as President. By the highway have you ever noticed how much Sarah Palin looks like Annete Funicello? My opinion I could be wrong.

She did not wet to college in Idaho. She went to college in Idaho...... Presiential address I believe would be Presidential address.......

At least get spell checker before you blog........

A spell checker would not have caught that inadvertent error.

The BIGGEST error, would be if this country elects Obama!

Hard to believe, isn't it? just 7 years after 9/11, about HALF the idiots in this country want to put a MUSLIM in the White House with an American-hating wife...............incredible

GO SARAH!!!

-- Posted by bazookaman on Fri, Oct 3, 2008, at 10:38 AM

@bazookaman it's really difficult give anything you say any credibility if you go spouting lies that have been repeatedly debunked. Barack Obama is not Muslim.

Delaney.............He's not an American either. Listen to Hannity tonight. The only "debunking" has beeen by the leftwing media. I guess he really doesn't know Ayers at all, eh? Michelle didn't really say we are a "hateful nation", and naturally, those photos of Obama disrespecting our flag while everyone else had their hands over their hearts were fake.........all superimposed by the GOP............oh yes, he's one of US alright.

AyreWolf......I'd like it even better if it was Sarah and Paul, or Sarah and Huckabee.

In a way, this is almost a win-win situation for the left. No matter WHO wins the presidency, there'll be a "Democrat" in the White House.

Still. the leftwing rag out of Boise does their best.........yet again today...........to slant "our reading pleasures" toward the left.

Barack Obama in the White House would be the most insulting thing to ever happen to the American people...............except..........perhaps FINALLY wake this country up into a long-overdue "sequel" to 1776.

The TRUE "war on terrorism" should RIGHTFULLY begin in Washington D.C.

And now, a fresh 700 Billion..........right back into the hands of the idiots who screwed us to begin with......and LOADED this time with pork barrel.

And Delaney, Your boy Obama got $126,000 from Fannie Mae..........check it out for yourself.

Ron Paul is CLEARLY the best candidate, but the media has effectively done its job, and buried him, as they do with any GOOD candidate. The media is owned by the left, and they DO have their agenda.

Problem with Ron Paul (and I campaigned vigorously for him, incidently), is that only Republicans will vote for him, which would split the vote and give knucklehead the White House.

Democrats do not vote for "3rd party guys", even when they are BETTER than their own candidate. We KNOW that Ross Perot's main support came from Republicans, many of whom vote their conscience, rather than their party.

You will rarely, if EVER, find a Democrat who thinks beyond his/her party. He may not know a THING about his representative, congressman, senator, etc.........but he'll walk into a poll booth every 2 to 4 years, and WHEREVER there's a (D), by golly, THAT's where that circle gets darkened! Joseph Duncan's name could be on that ballot someplace, and in many cases, the name would go un-noticed........as long as the (D) is beside the name..........YEP!! That's the guy for US!

Unfortunately, a lot of Republicans have fallen into the same habit. This is why we'll probably NEVER get anybody GOOD in government. We're almost FORCED to back OUR guy whether we like him or not, because we KNOW how the Dems consistently vote. So, if we DON'T back characters like McCain, we're gonna give it all away to guys like Obama.

If the Dems would join us in backing some DECENT people (mainly Independents, who are NOT already part of "Corruption City"), we could get rid of the 20 and 30 year leeches in Washington, and finally get some things DONE for America.

I don't see that happening anytime soon though, do you?

Nope, they'll keep backing the Obamas and we'll keep backing the Bushes, just like mom & dad did......just like grandma & grandpa did.

Strictly Democrats and Republicans......naturally....because..well..uh...well for goodness sake, our family has ALWAYS done that!

Yeah...........that's a good reason alright.

But you're right on the money, AyreWolf. If Ron Paul was President, he'd put the Federal Reserve, the IRS and the U.N. out of business. The borders would be closed, and our overseas troops would be back home here guarding them....instead of playing "world's policeman" guarding everyone ELSE's borders.

But Congressman Paul has the unfortunate habit of saying what he thinks, and backs it up with his votes in the sessions.

The "powers that be" don't WANT somebody like Ron, anywhere NEAR the Oval Office, where he's shake their gravy train-laden bureaucratic boat.

As most of these D.C. insiders have intimate relations with the mainstream media, Ron got little media coverage, was "conveniently" NOT included in several debates during the primaries, and thus........even in the waning days leading up to the primary elections, a lot of citizens were STILL asking "Who's Ron Paul?"

Josef Goebbels would have been proud.

And the main thing SARAH PALIN brings to the ticket is her natural ability to discard notes and speak from the heart to the American people, but backed up MAINLY by the fact she IS a Washington outsider, surrounded by snakes on both tickets. That she ISN'T a member of the "crook's convention" on Capitol Hill.....is reason ENOUGH for MY vote.

Of course, as a gun owner, I would naturally back the only one of the 4 who I KNOW will look out for my rights.

I'd support it, especislly seeing as how the 2-party "business as usual" system certainly hasn't done anything but flush us down the toilet.

Contrary to what we've been taught, the Civil War was more about states rights, than anything else.

Now, before anybody gets started here.......I do NOT support slavery. It's wrong for one man to own another...although that's what the United Nations is about, even as we speak.

There was tremendous resentment by many southern states, toward our government...even back THEN....trying to impose their ways and will upon the people.

We see a lot of that right here in Idaho. The bureaucrats back east come up with some of the goofiest laws you ever heard of, then they want to inflict them on the rest of the country.

We don't need Washington D.C. telling us how to live out here in the northwest, how to manage our land and water, they are the last ones in the country that should dictate ANYTHING to ANYBODY, from that cesspool of corruption back there.

In many ways, that's how the south felt. Basically, "Clean up your own backyard before you stick your nose over OUR fence."

I'd personally like to see Idaho secede from the Union, and get out from under Washington altogether.

Obama, for example, BELIEVES in more government. They've trashed the economy, driven the country into the ground, and not satisfied with that, Obama (and Hillary as well) wants Socialized medicine...............GREAT IDEA.........let's let the government handle our health care too! They've done such a marvelous job on everything else, eh?

Obama's gonna fix everything. Just like up in Canada, everyone would have "afforable" healthcare.

You don't get to choose your own doctor, and it might take you forever to even get in to see one, (unless of course, you're an illegal).....in some cases, you might die from your problem before you ever get seen for what ails you.

But HEY MAN.............it's AFFORDABLE!

Know the name Jim Johnson?.........one of the big-wigs at Lehman. Know what else he is? Obama's financial manager.

Yeah AyreWolf, I'd support a Confederate Party. I think everything south & west of D.C. NEEDS to "rise again!"

Wow. I stand corrected. It's all right here, in black and white, so to speak. Wow.

"WHO ARE YOU"???? you make no sense.

-- Posted by Green Eyed Lady on Sun, Oct 5, 2008, at 11:24 PM

Before anyone tries to make this a "black & white" issue, be it known that I'm a guy who supported Alan Keyes for President during the 2000 Republican primary, and have voted for Joe McNeal (who is also a Democrat), everytime he's run for ANYTHING. Good and bad folks come in ALL colors.....and parties.....I also voted for the Democrat Cecil Andrus everytime HE ran for governor.

I would NEVER support Obama, though. NOT because he's black, but because he's an inexperienced, non-decision-making, tax and spend, anti-gun liberal.

While the South WAS wrong on slavery, they were absolutely RIGHT to defy an intrusive government. A lot of slaves went north via the "underground railroad", as all eventually would have. The north (very more like Washington today), needed to mind their own business and stay out of ours.

Being a "rebel" isn't necessarily a bad thing....MOST of us have been rebelious toward SOMTHING in our lives.

Now, at the risk of being taken out of context, I'm going to just say a couple of things merely as "food for thought."

First, the old plantation owners didn't just go overseas and bring slaves back with them. The slaves were sold by their own people....

.....and NO! That DOESN'T make it right.

Secondly...(and hardly ANYONE ever thinks about this)....if they were never brought here for ANY reason, where might they be today?

Africa is plagued by disease, people still living in mud huts, there is famine, genocide, AIDS, lions, crocodiles, snakes.........

Yes, here in America, it has unfortunately taken black folks quite awhile to get where they are, but today they ARE! Movie stars, sports stars, celebrities, doctors, congressmen..........hell, there's a black man running for PRESIDENT right now (And if he was Alan Keyes, I'd be voting for him).

Yes, the black man has not been given a fair shake for a long time. Too long of a time. But looking at the entire picture, he has TODAY, what he would NEVER have had, if he was still over THERE.

You know also.......if the South had won the war, there wouldn't be "eminant domain.", we wouldn't continue to pay taxes on what we already own. There wouldn't BE a U.N. on our soil, it'd be legal to shoot the "revenooers" and Joseph Duncan would have already been hung.

There would be "Merry Christmas", not "Happy Holidays", and while many phrases might begin with "Y'all...." the remainder of that paragraph would be in ENGLISH.

Yeah..............I'd support a true "Confederate Party" were one established.
