Freedom

The last week was really relaxed for me. Besides having a friend I met in San Pedro de Atacama visit me, everything was just life and school as normal. I do not have much to tell about, but I decided I would take this chance to share a few poems I have written recently.
Israel
Brown eyes of bubbles-
pop-pop-popping
every time conversation
picks up and dropping-
How can you be so
much like me,
but from a place I've
only seen on TV?
Backpacking Antofogasta
Drift to the coast
to watch the birds in the bay.
Watch the stray dogs
swim and play
Don`t know where
I`ll end up today-
this life is freedom
I like it this way.
A green planet
sparkling with dew drops
and broken glass.
A sea shell
echoing ocean- shell spirals
oil stained.
A river with
H20, elixer of life
like toxic waste.
The beach, wide
and bestrewn with
sheashells and garbage.
A lost shoe
under a dock goes
unmissed.
Train Tracks
Train pulls away
into the infinite gray
tunnel. And as it sways
side to side, gravity betrays
me and all these stops delay
me. But it will never cease to amaze
me the speed at which I will
surely arrive to my
desitination. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Es tarde para el post, pero no podia perderme esto.
Mi favorita: Train Tracks.
En "A green planet", me gusto la frase: "A river with H20, elixir of life"... mmm.
La poesia es interesante forma de expresion. Me gusta que la escribas. No es mucha la gente que lo hace.
