Kung Fu Panda

Easily one of my nominees for Best of 2008 is Kung Fu Panda. An animated tale of Po, a bumbling panda and number one of fan of Kung Fu. Po, voiced by Jack Black is mistakenly named the Dragon Warrior, a warrior chosen to defend the Valley of Peace from the villanous Tai Lung voiced by Ian McShane from HBO's "Deadwood." Po is taught the art of Kung Fu by Master Shifu voiced by Dustin Hoffman.

Like Surf's Up and Ratatouille (the hit summer animated films of last year), Kung Fu Panda was very entertaining. The CGI animation was superb, especailly the martial arts sequences. The voiceover work was outstanding led by Black and Hoffman and joined by an all-star cast with Angelina Jolie (Tygress), Lucy Liu (Viper), Seth Rogen (Mantis), David Cross from "Alvin and The Chipmunks" (Crane), Michael Clarke Duncan (Commander Vachir) and Jackie Chan (Monkey).

Well that's my review, now here is what the public thought of Kung Fu Panda.
