Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal SkullPosted Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 5:20 PM
2.5 Reels out of 5 I felt Ford was great, even at age 64, he was able to pull off some, not all of the stunts as Jones and gave a solid performance. But like the arc of the covenant, maybe this series should never have been opened or in this case reopened. 19 years, that was the difference in years from Last Crusade to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In this fourth installment, Jones (Harrison Ford) gets caught up in a Soviet plot to find mysterious artifacts known as the Crystal Skulls. The cast for Indy 4 features Shia LaBeouf (Transformers, Disturbia) who plays Mutt Williams, a "Fonzie" like character who follows Jones during his search for the Skull and Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth) plays the villanous Irinia Spilko, who involuntarily recruits Jones to find the skull.

The other Indiana Jones movies were not as good as people remember either. It is only nostalgia that makes many people think they were so awesome. Don't believe me---go watch them again. And as was previously said; "It's only a movie." So were the other three.
Lighten up. It's only a movie.
