Keesler Entry 2

Hey everybody, well I'm about to finish my second week of classes, it's going good, I just passed my first block test today, 86% baby!!!!!!

Man it wasn't easy, I have never been good with tests, for some reason I get test anxiety like you wouldn't believe, but oddly enough I wasn't so stressed out with this test, sure I goofed on questions that I got right and changed my answers, but I did good enough to pass. Trust me, I'm not looking for top grad or distinguished grad, I just want to come back to you guys a tech school grad, period.

My classmates are cool, man when I see the newbys (kids coming out of basic), I think that was me once, I feel so bad that they have to march in the morning and line up before leaving each school day, and having an assigned schedule on when to eat and go to PT (physical training). I guess a perk of being prior service is that after school, the sky's the limit on your after school activities.

The only downside, I have encountered is my new living arrangements, the hotel I am stationed at has no air conditioning and I have to share my bathroom with someone next door, a drag.

Other than that it's cool, this week, we have a four day weekend coming up, because every other Friday, my class gets a day off, I hope to go check out downtown Biloxi for the first time since I was here five years ago when I was in active duty, those were the days.
