Fantasy Football headache

Posted Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 2:06 PM

It's unbelievable, for the first time in five years I've drafted a marquis player on my fantasy team, who's that player, Ladanian Tomlinson, a player that has been ranked highly over the years, and is taken in the top three of every draft I've took part in, I now have on my team.

And yet, LT is plagued by a bum toe, WHAT!!!!

Along with LT I drafted a solid team with Drew Brees as my QB, Marquis Colston, Donald Driver and Joey Galloway as my wide recievers, Willis McGahee and Edgerrin James as my running backs. All-Pro Chris Cooley for my TE and the Chargers for my lead defense.

With a team like that, I should be 2-0 right, wrong, my season is going down the drain already with LT's injury, Colston out for 6 weeks and the Chargers sudden defensive coma.

I'm coming off two strong fantasy seasons with my basketball team (finished first) and my baseball team, I was hoping the momentum would carry over to this football season, but I never thought it would start this poorly.

This last week, during the Eagles/Cowboys game, I gained both triumph and defeat with DeSean Jackson's antics in the third quarter, it could have been points that could have possibly earned me my first win but yet I'm now 0-2, with still an injured #1 RB and WR, man I love fantasy football.
